Family research, music by Franz Berwald
More pics about my family research...the third pic is about an old castle? in Birsta ("Byrestad") - 1200-century?, Fale Bure?, "Byrisholm"? - and the pic on the paper mill is about my anchestor Johan Munktell which started the mill in 1740 (one of the oldest in Sweden!). You can see the country-house (down) on that pic...there had the Munktell-family great parties with famous guests...Jenny Lind, Franz Berwald (who was a near friend to the family!), Brantings, J.J. Berzelius, Selma Lagerlöv and so on...
Music by Franz Berwald (1796-1868): "Uvertyr till Estrella de Soria". Berwald is perhaps the greatest composer ever in Swedish history. Listen and enjoy!
