συμπληρωνω για οσους δεν γνωριζουν οτι η ορκομωσια στο μοναστηρι της αγιας λαυρας μπορει να ναι αμφιλεγομενη(γι αυτην γραφει γαλλος φιλελληνας,αλλα και Ελληνες),ωστοσο ειναι βεβαιη η ορκομωσια του π. πατρων γερμανου σε αγωνιστες στην πατρα καθως και αλλες εκεινο το διαστημα σε ολο τον χωρο του επαναστατημενου ελληνισμου...

παλι απο πηγες στην "ιστορια του ελληνικου εθνους"...το αντικειμενικοτερο και καλυτερο ιστορικο εκδοτικο επιτευγμα της ελληνικης ιστοριογραφιας..
δεν ειναι βεβαια μονο ο ιερομοναχος κοσμας αιτωλος γνωστος για την ιδρυση εκατονταδων σχολειων και το εργο του στον αγωνα,ουτε και ο παπαφλεσσας(αρχιμανδριτης),ο διακος,ο εμμανουηλ παπας με τους αγιορειτες μοναχους στρατιωτες του...ειναι κυριως ολοι αυτοι γνωστοι και αγνωστοι ιεραρχες που θυσιαστηκαν για τον αγωνα ειναι και ο κατωτερος κληρος,αλλα και ολος ο πιστος ελληνισμος που συκοφαντειται απο τις προσπαθειες μιας μικρης μεριδας ιδεολογων ιστορικων...
εχουμε χρεος να λεμε την αληθεια..και ισως τα παραπανω ακουγονται ακυρα και πιθανον πομπωδη,αλλα οι καιροι ειναι πονηροι και πρεπει να ομολογουνται...

υς:Θυμιζω πως απο τους 459 ιερεις της επαρχιας Σμυρνης οι 347 βρηκαν φρικτο θανατο(και χιλιαδες αλλοι μεσα στους αιωνες της σκλαβιας)προφανως επειδη ηταν φιλοτουρκοι.Ξεχναμε την θαρραλεα σταση του μητροπολιτη σμυρνης?το δευτερο οχι του αρχιεπισκοπου και τεως μητροπολιτη του ποντου χρυσανθου το 40 ?
Σε ολο τον ελληνισμο υπηρχαν και καλοι και κακοι...και πιστοι και δουλικοι,σε ολα τα πεδια...δεν γινεται να συκοφαντειται η εκκλησια(ως θεσμος) για την προσφορα της στον αγωνα που ειναι ανεκτιμητη και αδιαπραγματευτη
