Thirteen - Adolescents
Ho acquisito degli spezzoni da Thirteen, un film indipendente dell'esordiente Catherine Hardwicke che scrive la sceneggiatura a quattro mani con una 13enne (Nikki Reed,attrice nel film) che ha realmente vissuto in prima persona le vicende della protagonista (Evan Rachel Wood). Quando lo vidi rimasi colpito per la forza emotiva di alcune scene, in particolare quelle finali dove la protagonista e la madre (il premio oscar Holly Hunter) riescono magistralmente a trasmettere un lancinante senso di angoscia allo spettatore.
Per la musica ho scelto il nuovo singolo dei Placebo: Song to say Goodbye, che secondo me si adatta benissimo..Inoltre mi sono divertito a cambiare un po' la storia del film: il fratello della protagonista diventa un ragazzo che le piace, così come l'amica diventa la sua rivale..per la quale prova un odio profondo, un odio che nel mio video-clip si avverte distintamente dagli occhi demoniaci della protagonista, quando ormai ha già toccato il fondo.
Il risultato finale devo dire che mi piace molto, tralasciando gli errori tecnici che avrò sicuramente commesso, e le leggi del montaggio che avrò infranto, le cose che più mi interessavano erano la sincronizzazione con la musica e la trasmissione di sentimenti quali odio e rabbia.
