Venhuizen 1924
Vroeger reden er een stoomtrams door Venhuizen. Het stationsgebouw en een aantal oude trambruggetjes is nog steeds aanwezig.Een van de stoomtrams van museumspoorlijn Hoorn Medemblik heeft de naam Venhuizen.
De Zuiderkoggelijn liep van Hoorn naar Schellingkhout,Wijdenes,Hem, Venhuizen,Bovenkarspel, Grootebroek naar Enkhuizen.
