79th Infantry Regiment - GRAW 2(PC)
The 79th Infantry Regiment is a realism unit in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.
Realism is a brand new concept in GRAW 2 but is widely spread over many different games in a variety of countries. It is a style of gameplay that implements a system of rules and a chain of command that mirrors that of the real military. After enlisting if you are accepted, you will begin Basic Combat Training (BCT) on a pre determined date and time with all other applicants of that class. BCT will teach you all you need to know about realism. We promote a military accurate environment as the name implies. Realism matches are played with other Units or Squad vs Squad/Platoon vs Platoon etc. Realism is not for everyone. Maturity is a big part of Realism. If you can not take orders you should avoid realism. We also have alot of fun here in the 79th, yes drills, bcts and realism matches will be serious but in between we are a relaxed group who enjoy gaming.

This year's Governors Ball, the Academy's celebration following the 79th Academy Awards, will capture the relaxed intimacy of an elegant supper party evoking the rich and vibrant textures of the Tuscan countryside. The open format, created by Ball producer Cheryl Cecchetto Sequoia Productions, will allow the Ball's 1,600 guests to choose among a variety of seating configurations while enjoying the cuisine created specifically for the event by master chef Wolfgang Puck.
