Liverpool FC - Anfield Rap (Full version)
The (in?)famous song recorded by the 1988 FA Cup finalists Liverpool. The song was Craig Johnston's idea, not John Barnes' as many might think. At this time there were only two scousers in the first team(John Aldridge and Steve McMahon), and the theme of the song evolves around their teammates strange accents(Non-Liverpudlians understandibly finds this hard to belive).
This song made it to #3 on the charts in England.
Lyrics:
Liverpool FC is hard as hell
United, Tottenham, Arsenal
Watch my lips, and I will spell
'Cause they don't just play, but they can rap as well
Liverpool FC
Liverpool FC
My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility...
Aahaah...aah...aah (Liverpool FC)
...had Napoleon had that idea he'd have conquered the bloody world
Walk on... walk on... with hope... in your heart... and you'll ne... ver walk...alone
Alright Aldo
Sound as a pound
I'm custy la but there's nothing down
The rest of the lads ain't got it sussed
We'll have to learn 'em to talk like us
Well I'm rapping now, I'm rapping for fun
I'm your goalie, the number one
You can take the mick, don't call me a clown
Any more lip and you're going down
Alright Ace, we're great me and you
But the other lads don't talk like we do
No they don't talk like we do, do they do la
We'll have to learn 'em to talk propa
Walk on... walk on... with hope... in your heart... and you'll ne... ver walk... alone
You two scousers are always yapping
I'm gonna show you some serious rappin
I come from Jamaica, my name is John Barn-es
When I do my thing the crowd go bananas
How's he doing the Jamaica rap?
He's from just south of the Watford Gap
He gives us stick about the north/south divide
'Cause they got the jobs
Yeah, but we got the side
Well I came to England looking for fame
So come on Kenny man, give us a game
'Cause I'm sat on the bench paying my dues with the blues
I'm very big down under, but my wife disagrees
They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas
They got more silver than Buckingham Palace
No-one knows quite what to expect
When the red machine's in full effect
Well Steve McMahon sure can rap
It's about time he had an England cap
So come on Bobby Robson, he's the man
'Cause if anyone can, Macca can
Macca-can... Macca-can... Macca-can... Macca-can...
Liverpool FC is hard as hell
My idea was to build Liverpool up and up and up until eventually they would be untouchable. Everybody would have to submit. Give in, give in, give in
We're highland lads
Och-ai the noo
And there's four of us
And only two of you
So if you want nai trouble
And you don't want a slap
You'd better teach us the Anfield rap
Don't forget us paddies
And me the Great Dane
And I'm from London mate so watch your game
Well you two scousers, you're always squaking
But we'll just let our feet do the talking
Our lads have come from all over the place
They talk dead funny, but they play dead great
Well now we've gotta learn 'em talk real cool
The song you've gotta learn if you live in the Pool
Walk on... walk on... with hope... in your heart... and you'll ne... ver walk... alone
You'll never walk alone
Ho-ho my word
That's unbelievable, it really is
I think they should stick to playing football. Terrible
What do you think Kenny?

Outside the Shankly Gates
I heard a Kopite calling :
Shankly they have taken you away
But you left a great eleven
Before you went to heaven
Now it's glory round the Fields of Anfield Road.
Chorus :
All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)
We had Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road
Outside the Paisley Gates
I heard a Kopite calling
Paisley they have taken you away..
You led the great 11
Back in Rome in 77
And the redmen they are still playing the same way
All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)
We had Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Fernando Torres "Anfield Great"
// FERNANDO TORRES "ANFIELD GREAT"
// NANI17PRODUCTIONS
// WWW.MILANKAKABAROS.COM
Torres made his competitive debut for Liverpool against Aston Villa in a 21 win on 11 August 2007.[19] He made his first appearance in the UEFA Champions League four days later in a 10 victory over Toulouse, after coming on as a 79th minute substitute.[20] His first Premier League goal came on his Anfield debut on 19 August, in the 16th minute in a 11 draw against Chelsea.[21] His first hat-trick came in a 42 victory over Reading in the League Cup in September, with all of his goals coming in the second half.[22] His first goals in the Champions League came on his third appearance in the competition as Liverpool beat F.C. Porto 41, during which he scored twice.[23]
He won the Premier League's player of the month award for February,[24] during which he scored four goals in two league appearances, including a hat-trick against Middlesbrough on 23 February 2008.[25] This hat-trick and another in a 40 victory over West Ham United on 5 March 2008 meant he became the first Liverpool player since Jackie Balmer in November 1946 to score a hat-trick in successive home matches.[26] Later in March, after he scored a 47th minute header against Reading at Anfield, he became the first Liverpool player since Robbie Fowler in the 199596 season campaign to score 20 league goals in a season.[27]
In April, he scored another Champions League goal, this time against Arsenal in the quarter-final second leg, to help take Liverpool through to the semi-final.[28] This goal took him onto 29 goals for the season in all competitions, eclipsing former Liverpool favourite Michael Owen's personal record for goals in a season.[25][29] On 11 April 2008, it was announced Torres had made a six man shortlist for the PFA Players' Player of the Year Award,[30] which was eventually won by Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United.[31] The Spanish international was also nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year Award, which was won by Cesc FÃ bregas of Arsenal and was named in the PFA Team of the Year.[31] In May, he finished second to Ronaldo for the FWA Footballer of the Year award.[32]
On 4 May 2008, Torres scored a 57th minute winner against Manchester City, which equalled the consecutive Anfield league goal record of eight games set by Roger Hunt.[33] After scoring his 24th league goal in the final game of the season, a 20 win against Tottenham Hotspur, he set a new record for the most prolific foreign goal scorer ever in a debut season in England, eclipsing Ruud van Nistelrooy's 23 goals.[25][34] He ended the season in joint second with Emmanuel Adebayor in the race for the Premier League golden boot.[35] Torres was subject to media speculation that Chelsea were willing pay £50 million to sign him but Torres responded by saying it would be "many years" before he left Liverpool.[36][37] Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks also negated the idea of a transfer, saying he would not allow Torres to leave the club at any price.[38] Torres made a promising start to the Premier League 200809 season, scoring the only goal in a 01 away win against Sunderland.[39] He suffered what was later confirmed as a hamstring tear in a 00 draw against Aston Villa, which would keep him out for two to three weeks.[40]
