The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning tells the story of Ariel, before the events in the original film. According to the official website, in this prequel, music is outlawed in Atlantica. However, Ariel realizes her passion for music in a secret club. Unsure of whether to hide her love for music, or to share it with her father and risk losing everything, Ariel goes on a daring adventure to restore music to Atlantica.
Ariel's Beginning will also tell the story of how Ariel and Flounder became friends, while Ariel's sisters will also have bigger parts in this film than they had in the original. The Movie will also explain why King Triton hates the humans, why Ursula was banned out of Atlantica and why Ariel's mother left her family.

Thanks to Old Fish Tale from the UltimateDisney.com forums for the heads up on this one, and of course Amazon.com (link to original clip below).
Shows some clips of Triton (while his hair was still red), ruling "with a fair hand and an open heart". Also shows a bit of the adorable younger Ariel, as well as her six sisters, who are enjoying Athena's lullaby, which is called "Athena's Song".
"Oh the waves roll low,
and the waves roll high;
and so it goes
under a bright blue, endless sky;

the days that we treasure;
wave hello, and wave goodbye."
Athena is voiced by Lorelei Butters, Triton is voiced by Jim Cummings. Ariel's Beginning, with music and lyrics by Jim Dooley and Jeanine Tesori. Ariel's Beginning comes out on August 26th, 2008- less than two more weeks!

Ariel's yearning
Ever yearning with wishes so clear.
This is my third mv. It's about Ariel and her wishes. The music is from the Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø's album "Gift of Love". The song is called "Moonlight". In the Swedish version of The Little Mermaid (Den Lilla Sjöjungfrun) it's acctually Sissel who makes the voice of Ariel. And isn't it a fantastic voice?

Ariel's Voice (Multilanguage)
I tried to find as much as possible different versions. It's my favorite part from The Little Mermaid and I think Ariel has a pure and beautiful voice.
In this video you can hear Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, French Canadian, Finnish 1989 (great thanks to Eikkanen!!), Greek, Italian, Japanese 1998, Mandarin, Norwegian, Thai 1998, Turkish and English versions.
If anyone has a good quality of Finnish 1989's version, could he send it to me?
