Hurray! The final exams are *finally* over! Today I made a video about Jane Austen's women as, um, maneaters (LOL). Please don't hate me for it, I just made this for fun XD After all, who can blame these women for taking some interest in JA's irresistible men?
I added the heroines as well as the other female characters that are seldom mentioned (e.g. Isabella Thorpe, Maria Bertram, Mary Crawford, Lydia Bennet). Thank you so much for your appreciation! It's one of my most popular vids!

The Jane Austen Book Club trailer
As five women and one enigmatic man meet to discuss the works of Jane Austen, they find their love lives playing out in a 21st century version of her novels. Sylvia (Amy Brenneman), is shocked when her husband Daniel (Jimmy Smits), leaves her after 20 plus years and three children. Jocelyn (Maria Bello), her unmarried best friend, distracts herself from her unacknowledged loneliness by breeding dogs. Prudie (Emily Blunt) is a young French teacher, in possession of a worthy husband yet distracted by persistent fantasies about sex with another man. The many times married Bernadette (Kathy Baker) develops a yearning for one more chance at happiness. Beautiful, risk-taking Allegra (Maggie Grace), Sylvia and Daniel's lesbian daughter, has quit talking to her lover. And Grigg (Hugh Dancy), a young science fiction fan and computer whiz, seems horribly both out of place and obliviously at ease as the only man to be invited into the book circle.

Lost - Kate Austen - Evangeline Lilly speed painting

I just could not get this one right, eventually I sketched over the picture on another layer and used the line drawing to keep things tight (maybe I should have started that way!). For anyone who dosen't know, Evangeline Lily plays Kate Austen in the popular TV series Lost.

ITV Jane Austen (Crystallised Beauty)
Ok after hearing this beautiful music that they promoted with the ITV Jane Austen movies I had to use it and make a video for all three films! They are great and I loved them! The music is "Crystallised Beauty" by Philip Sheppard and they used this music to promote the movies. I hope you enjoy this video!
