Bambi - modern trailer
In 1942, Walt Disney's groundbreaking masterpiece "Bambi" was released with the tagline "A great Love Story", but this immortal classic movie covers a lot more than only a lovestory... nothing less than the complete circle of life!
In fact, "Bambi" was often called "Disney's original circle of life", in comparsion with Disney's "The Lion King", wich was released more than 50 years later and in wich Disney reused a lot of ideas, scenes and plot-parts from "Bambi".
To cover this circle of life in "Bambi", was the idea behind my experiment, to made a "modernized trailer" for "Bambi", because the old 1942 original-trailer aged a lot, but the gorgeous movie itself is unforgotten until today and did not aged one day!
As one of the greatest classic movies ever made in film history, "Bambi" deserves to be added the NFR (National Film Registry)! So this trailer is also a call for all fans to vote "Bambi" to the NFR at: http://www.loc.gov/film/vote.html
