But Black Hat White is about many types of violence: the personal violence which we do to ourselves by overvaluing our personal perceptions, the cultural violence which we commit against others when we fail to put ourselves into each other's shoes, and, implicitly, the grand scale international violence that results from these behaviors. Deceptively simple on the surface, Black Hat White plumbs the depths of human nature and illuminates, from one angle at least, how we can act irrationally and unjustly without even knowing it when we aren't willing to see things from another perspective.

BlackHat - Medal of Honor Airborne Community Manager - In Husky, it's all about flanks. The environment is so open and vertical, that I like to explore and find new ways into different situations. For example, in this video, I enter the town hall through an open window on the second floor, then hit the rest of the town from the rooftops (until I fell off on the way to the Northeast gate!). Also, you'll see that I'm crouched a LOT. I use crouch cover constantly, and the crouch-sprint is one of my favorite features.

Dark Reading's Site Editor, Tim Wilson, speaks with White Hat Security's Founder & CTO, Jeremiah Grossman and the Director of Software for the company, Trey Ford. The duo walks through some examples of how hackers are making a little bit of scratch to gobs of money through methods like manipulating polls and contests; exploiting QVC to get products for free and turning around to sell them for profit; or even manipulating the stock market - an Estonian stock broker gets advance copies of press releases simply by guessing the file names on the site and trading on the data.
