Chemlab - Chemical Halo (Cleveland 2007)
Live from Peabodys Down Under in Cleveland, Ohio on November 18, 2007, I was given permission to film this concert, thanks to the guys in the band.
Chemlab is on tour right now with USSA and Skeleton Key, and let me tell you what... ALL these bands put on one hell of a show.. Jared is so damn fun to watch, as are the talented musicians in this band..
You all need to get off your asses and get to a venue they're playing at! I drove 4 hours to see them, and it was well worth the damn trip!

Chemlab - Exile On Mainline (Cleveland 2007)
Performing live on tour with USSA and SKeleton Key, Chemlab is back after being away for 10 years, and they sure were missed!
I know I'm no pro, but I did have permission from all 3 bands to film them, thank you to Jared (Chemlab), Duane (USSA) and Erik (Skeleton Key).
This concert was live from Peabody's Down Under in Cleveland, Ohio on November 18, 2007, just last week, actually.
All I really want to say is you all need to get out and see these bands while you can. Chemlab puts on one hell of a show, and Jared is such a fantastic performer, he has amazing stage presence, so if they're playing at a venue near you... GO SEE THEM!

Chemlab - Exile on Mainline (live 1996)
Date: July 1996.
Location: the Troubadour, Los Angeles. Additional footage recorded July 1996 at Brick by Brick, San Diego. We also interviewed them in the alley behind the club, which will eventually be uploaded to this channel.
Technical details: 4 Sony EVO broadcast cameras. Yes, we were that xxhardcorexx. Shooters: yours truly, Christian, Sunny, Eric Snow.
Audio: board submix + room omni, spanked a bit in post. (Cheers, English Reg, wherever you are now.)
Band: I saw Chemlab several times from 1991 - 1996, after which they didn't really break up so much as go supernova, taking a few bands and a record label with them. They were always a great live act, but this lineup was a fucking machine: Jared & Dylan, Greg Lucas (The Final Cut) on guitar, Levi Levi (Thrill Kill Kult) on bass, and Tom "Serv-o" DeSalvo (16 Volt, lots of other bands I forget) on drums. Watching them play this gig was like standing in front of a speeding freight train loaded with plastique explosive and busted synthesizers and driven full-throttle by a madman in a stars-and-stripes shirt. It's the best I ever saw them play, even better than when they opened for White Zombie in some very large venues.
After a long break, Jared and Chemlab still exist, and are touring the US for the first time in a decade as I write this. The Oxidizer record from 2004 is a damn fine piece of jagged electocrunch, and worth a listen or twelve.
