世界各国で演奏活動を続けてきた和太鼓奏者、西野恵。
和太鼓の可能性を広げ独自の世界を構築し、伝統芸能の世界だけではなく、音楽、エンターテイメントといった世界での活動を行う為、「鼓絆～ＣＯＨＡＮ」を結成。
メンバーは西野恵を中心に、近田春夫＆ハルヲフォンの恒田義見、四人囃子・岡井大二、坂下秀実、安全バンド・長沢ヒロ、Ｂｏｏｗｙ・高橋まこと。
和太鼓の魅力に感銘された実力派ミュージシャンがヴォーカル、キーボード、オリジナルのパーカッション類等とのアンサンブルで伝統の「和」の世界をアーティスティックに表現。
独創的な空間を作り出す和太鼓の枠を超えた打楽器集団。

The great American song composer and stage star George M. Cohan starred in this picture in 1932, at the age of 54. His stage career began in 1904 and ended in the 1940's. He founded ASCAP and is called "the father of American stage" When this film was made he was near the end of his career, but we are fortunate to have this only surviving sound film appearance.
