Mahavishnu Orchestra - Earliest Live Recording
Verifiably the Mahavishnu Orchestra's earliest live recording - my favorite one, as well. Why?
It comes from a radio broadcast by WAER-FM - live from the Jabberwocky Nightclub, Syracuse NY, on April 11 1971. And, without even having their first album released, the setlist spans the entire MO#1 career (which I think is significant - in terms of its break-up):
- Miles Beyond;
- Dream;
- Vital Transformation;
- Dawn;
- Sanctuary (NOT in the video); and
- Awakening.
I've cut the whole concert down to 10 minutes, remixed the audio and added video from a later show.

This video was made to celebrate me scoring tickets for the McLaughlin Corea Quintet at the Sydney Opera House in February, 2009 - plus completion of a DVD-ROM with my "100 best" 2006-8 videos. And...
well, it's 9/11 again. On that same morning (Australian-time), I was featured as a musician in a national magazine (The Bulletin). I'd hoped to use the "success" to start playing guitar in America. In the end, I don't think anyone even SAW the magazine, in the rush for the morning papers. And things weren't the same after that.
Even for me - I'd been standing at the top of the WTC in September of 2000! I seem have a "September" thing - 1999: Sydney Morning Herald's "Best Personal Site On The Web", 2003: re-scheduled Yes concert (I wrote a MySpace blog about it once).
There are NO TITLES on the video, accordingly. NO "SHARING", either - without a link-back to www.youtube.com/avs002.

My Chemical Romance - one of their earliest shows
This is a video of MCR performing at the American Legion Hall in Cresskill (or maybe Dumont... i forget), NJ. This video was taken in early, early 2002 when Frankie Iero had just joined the band. I think it might be their 20th show. I found this video on a cd when I was cleaning up my room... My friend had taken the video when i was working with the band so that's why my name and (old) phone number is at the end.

Sonic CD 510 (Earliest Sonic CD Prototype)
Sad they didn't make the game like they originally intended it. Seemed like Quartz Quadrant Past was gonna be similar to Hidden Palace in a way. As you can see some levels are very basic (Quartz Quadrant) and some don't have enemies or bosses. Not all the sound effects are there either. Different FMV, Mecha Sonic now has electricity in Chaos Collision, different designs on Quartz Quadrant levels. There is a lot of things that are different if your interested run a search for Sonic CD Beta on Google. Flowers!! What Sonic has to do with flowers I have no idea, but every Round has a different one. I tried to get them all in the Video but this game wasn't finished yet.

My earliest memory - plane crash!
My memory was formed 40 years ago at 10am on Sunday 4th June 1967
We lived in Denton, Manchester, UK and flight G-ALHG a British Midland Canadair C-4 Argonaught lost 2 engines and crashed at Hopes Carr, Stockport passing directly (only feet) above our house. It was coming from Palma, Majorca heading to Ringway airport, Manchester.
12 of the 88 survived including the pilot Capt Harry Marlow who did an amazing job flying an unstable plane to a relatively safe site.
I Googled it to be accurate with dates etc and the information was only put onto the web 5 years ago.

It was only when I drew a close up of a plane showing plates with rivets that we knew this was my memory and not just what had been discussed. I hadn't seen another plane close up. I've flown since, I love it!

FFVII - Midgar Zolom - Earliest/Lowest Level Beta
Ok, so you've seen me defeat him on the lowest level possible, but that's only possible because you avoid Beta. So, how about learning Beta on the lowest level possible?
The lowest leveled character who can survive Beta at this point (before getting the Fire Ring in Costa del Sol) is a level 11 Barret equipped with a Talisman, Elemental=Fire in his armor and with Sadness status. In addition to Barret, Cloud is on level 8, which is the lowest possible for him at this point and I decided to bring my good old level 5 Tifa along too. Therefore, my average level for this battle is 8.
So, how to do this? Just poison him and wait until he uses Beta? If you've seen my level 5 Tifa video, you know that doesn't work. Beta isn't an attack he uses randomly. He will only use it as a counter attack when his HP is under 1500 IF he already stood up and kicked a character out of the battle. Those are also counter attacks, used when his HP falls below 3000 and 2000, respectively.
Poison is still the way to go, though, as it makes the battle easier and quicker. Give Poison and Sense to the character you want to get kicked out of the battle. Preferably, the one with the lowest HP, so that's Tifa. Then make Cloud the healer and give the Enemy Skill Materia to Barret in addition to Elemental=Fire in his armor, which he cannot survive Beta without.
After poisoning him, Sense him and wait until his HP falls below 3000. Then attack him once to make him stand up. Next, when his HP falls below 2000, have Tifa attack. This should make him kick Tifa out of the battle, but for some reason, it doesn't always work. If that's the case, just attack again. If he doesn't kick out Tifa immediately the first time she attacks, he might kick out someone else and that's very bad.
If he does kick out Tifa, you can just wait until his HP falls below 500 and have Barret attack. Just make sure he's got full HP, or he won't survive Beta. However, even at full HP, there's a chance he won't survive it, depending on his HP, Spirit and the damage. Stats increase randomly at level up, so he won't necessarily have 428 HP. If he had less than 500 HP when Barret attacked, he should die from poison after casting Beta.
That's how it's done. If you want a higher chance of surviving Beta, you can just level up Barret to 12, where he will survive it on full HP either way. BTW, this was done at the earliest point possible, before I even went to Kalm.
