Excerpted from the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, a trio of hilarious editorials by the immortal Patrick Layton Paulsen. The topics were as relevant then as they are today: social security, gun control and health care. Pat Paulsen may have left us, but you can still vote for him!
I am posting this video not only to provide a tribute to Paulsen but to also let everyone know that The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour is finally being released to DVD on Sept. 16. It's being released in reverse order starting with season 3, so please buy the set and show them how many people would like to see all of the Comedy Hours eventually released to DVD.

America's Next Top Model Katarzyna finds work in Greece, the shoot was taken by one of the best greek photographers Katerina Tsatsani, Tyra's top model is also in current issue of greeks OZONE magazine, many ANTM girls find fashion industry doors closed after leaving the reality TV competition, seems thats not the case with Dolinska, who already booked an impressive number of editorial photo shoots. I have no info on the magazine name in which the shoot above was published. Source: topmodel @ live journal.

WPIX 1981 Editorial Feedback

WPIX's editorials were delivered by Richard N. Hughes, station vice president. His editorials were thoughtful and informative, and always well written and delivered. Each of his editorials would end with the phrase, "What's your opinion? We'd like to know."
This is an Editorial Feedback segment - essentially, viewer answers to that question. Hughes does not attempt to outargue the correspondents, but gives each of them space and context before each one.
Note that the editorial uses WPIX's classic "circle 11" logo instead of the 11 Alive logo in use at the time. This is unusual because of the late date - 11Alive had been in use for four years at this point - and the fact that a "serious" rendition of the logo was in use for news. The revised 11Alive logo would appear on editorials the next year.

Then Came Bronson (22) "Still Waters" 1of5
A publisher of a small newspaper in a series of editorials warns the local community about the effect that industrial pollution is having on their local waters and ocean. His daughter (one of the writers for the paper) believes in her Father's cause, however local commercial interests because of his highlighting this issue, begin to pull their advertising dollars from his paper. In addition he's in love with a woman who works in a marine lab researching the local water pollution, who herself supports his strong stand expressed in the editorials. Bronson finds himself in the middle of all this as he joins the campaign and works for the publisher.
