Southport Visiter: Ainsdale Edwardian Day 2008
AN EDWARDIAN Day came to Ainsdale on Saturday, when the town evoked a lost world of empire.
Children donned their finest 'Cowboys and Indians' attire for the parade, a firm favourite with visitors to the event.
The crowds thronged the pavements of the pretty village, with funfair rides for the children, stalls and live music. Sefton Schools Brass Ensemble and Ainsdale C of E Primary School both performed, and both excelled.
