TitleTown USA Gainesville - UF
ESPN college football sideline reporter and University of Florida graduate Erin Andrews will travel to Gainesville to interview Tebow on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The University of Florida cheerleaders and UF mascots Albert and Alberta will greet fans and participate in the pep rally-style event in the set location outside the North End Zone normally reserved for ESPN's College GameDay during the college football season. The ESPN shoot is open to the public and is scheduled to conclude by 3 p.m. Fans are encouraged to park in lot adjacent to the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Gainesville will be the featured "TitleTown USA" city during both the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. editions of SportsCenter on Monday, July 14.
"TitleTown USA" is an interactive and multimedia effort to determine which city, town or municipality is America's top championship location. A panel of judges narrowed down fan-generated nominations to 20 finalists; ultimately, online voting by fans will determine the nation's top sports town. Gainesville was announced June 10 on SportsCenter as a finalist and is going up against other cities as small as Parkersburg, W.Va., and as large as New York.

The Bull Whisperer - Lyle Brown, Gainesville, FL
Lyle Brown of Gainesville, Florida rides Stardust, his 2,400 lb. tame Brahma Bull. Lyle trains bulls and combines them with a dog show act. He traveled with the PRCA rodeo circuit many years ago where he competed as a bull-rider. Lyle trains and sells bulls as well. He is well-known in his small town, Windsor, just East of Gainesville, FL. He is for hire at celebrations, grand openings, sales events, birthdays, weddings, county fairs, parades, etc.

Ashley Force Gainesville Wreck 2007
In Round 2 of Funny Car at Gainesville, Ashley Force was up against Phil Burkart. After Burkart smokes the tires, Ashley then hits the wall and handed the win to Burkart. Ashley was OK. This wreck happened the day before Eric Medlen's testing accident which it killed him a few days later.

PIGFACE Free For All Tour UDTV in Gainesville:
This was the first concert that UDTV put on and holy shit was it a festival. The only Carnival style show like it on the entire PIGFACE Free For All Tour. UDTV combined with the Leroy the Love Toy and the Ressurection Show (Gothic/Industrial radio program) on 100.5 The Buzz to promote this show. UDTV also put on TV shows dedicated to all the bands on the Free For All Tour, including commercials all over North Central FL. UDTV's PIGFACE Free For All Tour featured Enigma (Jim Rose Circus, X Files and The Human Marvels) and Sebby the fire breathing Dwarf plus 7 band bands. Opening up the day long festivities were Ocala based Gettendeep, followed by Orlando's Human Factors Lab, then Tampa's Glitter Guns (featuring Chains formely of the Genitortures), followed by the Free For All Tour bands with Voodou, Nocturne (featuring the beautiful and talented Lacey Conner), Sheep On Drugs and of course PIGFACE. UDTV offered All you can drink beer and $2 Jager shots. WOW!!!! Thank God there's video, cuz no one remembers SHIT!!! LOL
