1989 - Birmingham Superprix - Gravett and Hodgetts scrap
During the later stages of the BTCC race at the Birmingham Superprix, there was an other fabulous (but brief) scrap in the race featuring between Robb Gravett and Chris Hodgetts with their Ford Sierra RS 500 cars going side by side, late braking and smoking tyres!

1989 - Birmingham Superprix - Gravett and Bristow collision
At the fourth lap during the BTCC race at the Birmingham Superprix street circuit, Lawrence Bristow in his Team Labatts Ford Sierra RS 500 thought he get past Robb Gravett's Cartel NEC Racing Ford Sierra at the Holts Corner.
But Bristow left it too late and collided into the rear of Gravett's car. Eventually both cars continued to complete the race despite Gravett struggling with bent steering and loose bodywork rubbing into a front tyre.
