Rose's Turn-Gypsy-Ethel Merman
I've listened to the other divas on YouTube singing "Rose's Turn," from "Gypsy." I keep hearing about Ethel Merman's original Broadway Version, but couldn't find it on YouTube so I'm posting the audio. (I've created a repeating video montage of some of Merman's photos, for visual interest). How do you think she compares to the divas that followed her? : Angela Lansbury, Rosalind Russell, Bette Midler, Tyne Daly, Patti Lupone, Liza Minelli, Bernadette Peters,Betty Buckley, etc?
