I know many people will understand this video more than they will admit. I speak about my usage patterns with my BlackBerry and how some might consider this an addiction. My "addiction" doesn't control me really... I just need to stay connected and well I don't want to miss an e-mail or an IM. I might miss out on something important like a Google YouTube merger or the dates for some event or the e-mails from my good Christian friends in the Ivory Coast who just need a little assistance to get me my millions of dollars. You know the important stuff. ;)

Windows Vista Ultimate Install - Part 1
I take the plunge and install Windows Vista Ultimate and Office 2007. This process was painful due to the having to install it twice to do a "clean" install and I still had to clean up after the fact. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=5932 --- Here is a link to one of the articles I spoke to perform the clean install on an upgrade. Many people are of course talking about this right now and are trying to determine what path they should take. I will get into more details about the experience with the next pieces of video. The overall installation experience was slow and again having to do it twice to get a clean install did not start my Vista experience off on the best of footing. I knew coming in that with the media being a DVD it was going to take more time and am fine with the length of a single full install, but doing it TWICE... ugh! My son pops in and out of this video and some interesting ambient sounds occurred with him playing in the background, in this piece you get the Away We Go audio from one of his toys. Away We Go indeed...its like flying Jet Blue and sitting on the runway for eleven hours.

Windows Vista Ultimate Install Part 2 - WOW!
I will let the video speak for itself. I really have gotten a ton out of Microsoft products in the past and some things are really great. I want to point out that quite a few of the features of Vista I really like. The new features in the explorer experience are great. The look when in its optimal state is nice and the start menu is much enhanced. The UAC is a mess though. If I am a machine administrator then this should be a non-factor ipso facto as an admin I HAVE THE RIGHTS to do WHATEVER, stop with the bloody pop ups. All I can say is WOW! Did I really just do this to my laptop. In a few years when we all have 2GB of RAM on our video cards, an octa-core Pentium with a terabyte HD,10GB RAM and some drivers have been written maybe I will have another type of WOW experience. WOW......

What is Multi-Media Me TV?
Personal in nature this 21st century canvas is a cacophony of my existence, this is the multi-media me. I break down my channel options and let you know a little bit about me.
With the convergence of the internet and television I see our market and audience as limitless and with great tools, like SplashCast, becoming more available I look forward to creating media with you. This is a collaborative web now and the best part about it is the ability to share and mix ideas and content. Even though the show is called Multi-Media Me it is really a universal me. An extension of an idea I have called the Personal Media Outlet where we are all our own network. Weather you call it viral, guerilla, social or just plain old media here we call it Multi-Media Me TV.
