This song is really like a continuation to the song "gan lae gan", about the significance and importance of love. In fact, a number of sentences were lifted from the original song.

Amah Koon Beiki - 阿媽．睡未去
This song was written and performed in Taiwanese by Little Fatty ("Tua Kotei"), a Westerner living in Taiwan. The story is about a grandma who is having trouble sleeping, but it's mostly a novelty song to focus attention of some aspects of the Taiwanese language, as learned on the streets by a goofy expat.
"Chotto matte" is a popular Japanese phrase used daily in Taiwan, that
means "wait a moment" or "just a second, please."
The title of the
song means "Grandma cannot sleep" and the other verses in Taiwanese
consist of popular sayings and figures of speech that Taiwanese use in
everyday speech.
