Allumons!Lausanne: Lessons of Darkness
Muma, a Spanish-born artist in Lausanne, Switzerland, transforms his town into a scintillating paradise. "Allumons Lausanne!" (French for "Let's Light Up Lausanne!") attracted over 40,000 visitors on July 31, 2006 to absorb the spectacle created by over 127,000 candles placed in intricate patterns by 1,000 volunteers. The ancient Swiss town was transformed, bringing everyone together to appreciate what Muma calls "social art." "Lessons of Darkness" will make you reconsider your thoughts on collective identity, urban space and what it really means to live in today's intensely modern society. Flashmob freeze à Lausanne: la vidéo officielle en ligne
Cela fait maintenant quelques heures que l'on attend des images de cet event. Une véritable réussite d'après Alex Thélin, initiateur de cette idée que de réunir un maximum de participants à se "freezer" durant 5 minutes dans un endroit de Lausanne. Alors ce n'est pas juste un Freeze ni même deux mais carrément trois qui ont été perpétrés dans la ville. Tout premier rendez-vous: place de la Riponne pour le briefing avant de se rendre à St-Laurent et attendre le son des cloches comme signal. Puis c'est au tour de la place St-François juste au signal d'un coup de sifflet. Comme si cela ne suffisait pas à la foule (plus de 400 personnes au départ) c'est direction la gare pour le dernier de la journée.
Retrouvez ici l'ambiance, des témoignages mais également un maximum de participants en "pleine action" durant ces trois freeze. Première en Suisse suivie juste après et dans la même journée par Zurich qui donnait dans un freeze à la gare principale.
