Irish fiddle player, Zoë Conway, is a prodigious talent, equally at home in both traditional Irish and classical styles. Her list of achievements belies her youthful age as Zoë has performed across the globe, both as a solo artist and also playing with international acts such as Riverdance, Damien Rice, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Nick Cave and Lou Reed among others. She is a holder of the much coveted All-Ireland Senior Fiddle Champion title, winning the prestigious competition in 2001. She was also recently voted Best Traditional Female of the Year in Irish Music Magazine. Zoë is increasingly in demand as a tutor, regularly giving workshops and lectures on the merits of classical and traditional music on the violin. She has performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, L'Orient, Tonder and Womad and has also performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world including The National Concert Hall, Dublin; The Kremlin, Russia; The Kennedy Centre, Washington; The Broadway Gershwin Theatre, Carnegie Hall, New York.
Zoe has been touring with guitarist, John McIntyre for the past year. John is a member of the well known rock band The Revs. He has toured worldwide with the band and has performed at festivals including Oxygen, Slane, Reading and Rockpalast. As a result of playing with The Revs, John was voted "Best Musician of the Year" in a readers poll in Hotpress Magazine.
For their Autumn tour, they will perform in Galway, Limerick, Donegal, Letterkenny, Drogheda, Dundalk, Bray, Cork, Waterford and Dublin.

Michael McIntyre on Mock The Week: "T'Lion N't T' The"
Michael McIntyre on a Mock The Week roll, taking the absolute crap out of my home town Leeds, the Yorkshire accent and pronunciation of "The".
Now, may I at this point mention that their are some slight factual inaccuracies in his commentary.
"The", in the north, is not actually pronounced "t" at all. It is in fact silent and pronounced with little more than an accented last letter of the word preceding the "the". For example, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" would be pronounced "Lion Witch N' Wardrobe" with slight emphasis on the trailing "n"'s. Likewise, "The The" would be pronounced with little more than a blank stare and a couple of grunts.
But he was close enough :oP
