Treating a drumkit through the Moogerfooger filter
Yetsreday I continued working on the Krysztof Antkowiak song 10. And the first thing I started messing with was the acoustic drums.
So I pulled out my old MOogerfooger Low pass filter and treated them through that for some added mellowness...

This is a fun little patch where the FreqBox tries real hard to sync to itself. The output level of the MF-107 and the input level / envelope sensitivity of the MF-101 make a big difference in the wave shape and in the resulting sound.

SleepDrone vs FreqBox (Moogerfooger Fight)
This was originally 20 minutes long so I had to chop it up for You Tube. The Sleepdrone was my main sound source - its four oscillators modulated each other in interesting ways. That was fed into the FreqBox with its own oscillator which refused to play nice. I tamed the whole thing a bit with the Lowpass Filter but that was fed into the Ring Modulator which stirred up the insurgency all over again. That was fed into the Virus where I used its Phase Shifter. Roland SH-32 drums. Again, I used my Roland MPU-101 midi-to-cv converter to modulate different parameters.
That's a crazy woman at the train station in lower downtown Denver. she was coming up to people and saying all sorts of insane things. She approached me and began talking about her "private parts" and how they suffered when she didn't follow a strict hygiene regimen. I was able to get some video before security escorted her out.

homemade seekwah extension with exp pedal out for the moogerfooger lowpass filter. note: 1:49 is when i turn up the resonance to self-oscillate. blue stompbox is homemade delay pedal as well. damn hard to play when you're holding your phone camera....
