Adlib Opener
My video production studio class asked me to come up with an audio bed for what would be our TV show's opener. They gave me absolutely no direction except "make it cool because this will be the first thing people see every week." ...this is eventually what I came up with. Then my class partner for most of my time in this major threw together some video to go with it.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We decided that a holiday where food is the central component was a great day to start our gross show up again. So yeah...we're back with the same premise as last year, but with an all new style which should be immediately noticeable.

Adlib - Fake PSA 2
Sooo my friends and I were majors in radio tv and film and our video production studio class had me and my two partners come up with a comedy segment of some sort every week for a TV show that would air on our university's TV station. This was one of two fake PSA's we did for the show. It's pretty short, and insanely dumb, but we had fun. Here it is in it's compressed to hell glory.

While going through my major, I took a class called Electronic Field Production. While the class made one over-all film, we also had to break into groups of three and produce a film. My group consisted of Christie and Michael (in later semesters Michael would leave us and would be replaced with Carl who is featured in several of my other films). This is one of the short things we did for an assignment. This could have been a lot better had we not been lazy and spent ANY time on lighting, and more time on audio...not that it would make any more sense.
This version is the one thrown together by Christie, and the version we turned in for credit. This one is much brighter and has a much less creepy vibe than the other one does.
Anyway, this is in no way great, but it has its good qualities.

Adlib - Words of Wisdom 1
In the beginning of 2005 I entered a video production studio class for my Radio/TV/Film major and my two friends and I were put in charge of coming up with a comedy segment each week to be aired durring the class's TV show. The show was aired every Friday on our university's TV station. So we did the best we could with our limited resources and old equipment. We ended up being un-funny more often then not, but we had fun at least. Now I'm bored so I'm uploading this stuff to kill some time.
This segment we did 3 times. It was mostly something we would do to fill up the 3 minutes that was expected of us when we needed to. This is the closest thing to funny that the segment got..which really didn't quite reach that point. Riana wanted to see me dressed as a hobbit though so I uploaded it.
This is actually the first thing we ever shot with the tv studio's equipment...so you can marvel at our poor use of our undergrad green-screen, great use of stolen T-Shirt quotes, and cheap costumes.

Adlib - Halloween Opener
Later on in the semester, my video production studio class decided we'd have a Halloween special and turned to me to make a sound bed for a an opener unique to this particular episode that would still tie in with the original one I had done...somehow. Again I had no direction so this is what I eventually came up with. Christie then went to work on the visual side of things.

Young Ydoc Sings Christmas Songs - 1987
So here's another clip from the family movies...just happens to be that most of the videos that were fairly entertaining were recorded in the month of December.
So here I am singing for my mom, and I don't really seem to remember all the words to any of the songs. There's a Teddy Ruxpin(sp?) version of the 12 days of Christmas in there somewhere. Anyway, I found it most amusing when my mom starts trying to help me and I use some subtle methods to tell her how she's doing.
God I had a southern accent as a kid. I have no idea where it went, but my job thanks whatever stole it.
