RJL Vlog #5 - NaruyoJapan visits IzumoTaisha
NaruyoJapan and her daughter Hitoe came to Shimane in October and I had the chance to meet up with them at my local shrine, IzumoTaisha.
We had a fun afternoon walking around the shrine, having a snack and checking out the Shimane Museum of Ancient Izumo.

So I decided to make my video at school, which is where I spend a lot of my time. I asked many of my students what they know about me, and these are the 5 things they said most often...
Big THANKS to Yuki, Sayoko, Keiko and Ayumi (behind the camera) for all their help.
We actually filmed this yesterday, but there was a small mistake, so the kids gave up another lunch break to film it all over again today with me - they ROCK!
And just so there are no questions - the part at the end where I give my students money for saying nice things and helping is, of course, a joke.
They came up with their own funny things to say in Japanese. :)
