CHET ATKINS and CLAES NEEB intervjued by Norwegian TV (II)
When Chet Atkins was about to record "Norwegian Mountain Song" by Claes Neeb for his "Read My Licks" album, Chet wanted Claes over to Nashville to assist him in getting the tune done right. A Norwegian television crew followed Claes, documenting his trip to Nashville, and were allowed by Chet to record his work in his private studio, CA Workshop. This is from an intervju made in the backyard garden of Chet's home.

CHET ATKINS and CLAES NEEB at the Country Music Hall Of Fame
Chet gives Claes a guided tour at the Country Music Hall of Fame. It is amazing how Chet, a world famous star in his late sixties, cared to do this, fighting his way through a dense crowd of people, many of which recognized him instantly, just to do this favor for Claes. However, that is the way he was. He never thought of himself as standing out from others or being more important in any way, just a better guitar player than most.
