Buffalo Stance - Neneh Cherry
The song "Buffalo Stance" is from Neneh Cherry's Raw Like Sushi album. Neneh Is a two time Grammy award winner, the Grammy she received in 1990 was for Buffalo Stance, which ironically won. Originally , she was beaten out for that Grammy for Best New Artist by Milli Vanilli. But, she was awarded the Grammy when it was discovered that Milli Vanilli didn't sing on their album. Other singles off of the Raw Like Sushi album include -- "Manchild", "Kisses in the Wind", "Heart" and "Inna City Mama". Neneh took some time off from public appearances until 1992 as she was recovering from Lyme disease. Which may have hurt her sales for her follow up album, Homebrew, was not as successful as her previous album. Neneh is still a recording artist working in collaboration with group like the Gorillaz and Edward Kowalczyk of Live.
