Classic Game Room HD - ECHO! for Magnavox Odyssey 2
This ain't no ECCO the DOLPHIN! Classic Game Room HD reviews ECHO for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console, also known as the Philips Videopac G7000. ECHO is a game very similar to the 1980's toy called SIMON. You hit colored, numbered buttons (or the Magnavox keys in this case) in the same pattern as shown to you by the computer. This is an old school puzzle game that is simplistic in nature but still a lot of fun to play. Echo is called a mind bending mental gymnastics competition (ouch!) Simon says what!? ECHO, bitches........ ECHO, bitches! Classic Game Room always brings you the best in classic, retro video gaming reviews. Nobody makes more, nobody has more systems, nobody else keeps their Atari cartridges in the same fridge as the beer (we made that part up though). CGRHD bitches....... CGRHD bitches! It's the ECHO! Get it? Old school gaming forever!

Odyssey - Native New Yorker 12" (1977)
The 7" and 12" mixes of this track are so different they're practically different records - to my ears the 7" sounds completely dull and flat in comparison to the magnificent 12" mix here. Have posted the 7" version for comparison (video response).

The Odyssey (Part I)
I have been planning to do this for a few months This is the Odyssey Part I. The video is from the epic miniseries that came out around 1997 edited to the epic 24 minute track by Symphony X. NOTE: I have not included the overture in the first part. That will be a seperate video.

2001 A Space Odyssey - Space Sequences Tribute Part 1of4
And here the "Mother" (well the real mother is probably "Metropolis") of all Science Fiction Movie Special Visual Effects: Stanley Kubricks "2001 - A Space Odysee" from 1968. All seen here is of course handmade. All photographic effects, no CGI. And all SFX Scenes from the Movie are cut toghether in full length and in chronological order. Because it's more than 36 Minutes of FX, including the "changing Dimensions" FX, i had to split in into 4 parts. And don't adjust your volume when there's nothing to hear. It's meant that way ;) Quote Wikipedia: "I tried to create a visual experience, one that bypasses verbalized pigeonholing and directly penetrates the subconscious with an emotional and philosophic content. I intended the film to be an intensely subjective experience that reaches the viewer at an inner level of consciousness, just as music does; to „explain" a Beethoven symphony would be to emasculate it by erecting an artificial barrier between conception and appreciation. You're free to speculate as you wish about the philosophical and allegorical meaning of the film -- and such speculation is one indication that it has succeeded in gripping the audience at a deep level -- but I don't want to spell out a verbal road map for 2001 that every viewer will feel obligated to pursue or else fear he's missed the point.
