Dayton Dragons vs. Peoria Chiefs Brawl
bench-clearing brawl between the Dayton Dragons and Peoria Chiefs tonight at Fifth Third Field halted play for an hour and 9 minutes.
Th17 ejections that were handed down following the brawl, which lasted about 10 minutes.
pitcher Julio Castillo then threw a pitch close to Brandon Menchaca's head which prompted Dayton manager Donnie Scott to leave the third base coaching box and complain to home plate umpire Tyler Wilson. That prompted interim Peoria manager Carmelo Martinez to join the conversation, which quickly became heated, and when Martinez pushed Scott, the benches emptied. Several fights broke out behind home plate, and Castillo threw a ball that sailed into the stands behind the Dragons' dugout, hitting a fan who had to be taken to a hospital. Menchaca jumped on Castillo and eventually both managers and 15 players — including eight Dragons — were ejected from the game.
Those ejected from the Dragons were starting outfielders Justin Reed and Phipps, Kevin Feiner (who was taking the place of Cozart), starting catcher Devin Mesoraco and pitchers Henry Arias, Jeremy Horst, Jeff Jeffords and Luis Montano. Peoria lost five starters, including outfielders Brandon Guyer and Cliff Anderson, catcher Mario Mercedes, third baseman Jovan Rosa and Castillo as well as pitchers Steve Vento and Audy Santana.
Within 45 minutes after the ejections were announced, they were reversed after the Class A Midwest League office heard what happened from the umpires.
The ejections were reversed because the teams did not want pitchers to play the outfield positions, which would have occurred had the ejections stuck.
The pitcher Castillo was arrested at the park and faces felonious assualt charges!!!!

Police Torture Woman in Peoria Arizona - Officer Adams Makes Threats - Has No Orders
Peoria Arizona Police Officer Adams pays an intentional harassing visit to the residents Ambushed, Attacked and Assaulted on April 18, 2008 for more of City Attorney Stephen Kemp and Internal Affairs Officer Collier's form or retaliatory revenge. Adams has nothing to go on but his aparently ignorant and unwaranted propensity to abuse authority and attempt to instil fear as he openly harasses the female resident threatening to send a tactical team to break her door down. The man is absoloutely off his cracker thinking he is operating within the law and can't at all state what his legal authority is to come arround and further terrorize the woman after the last few days of sheer horror created by the Corrupt City of Peoria and it's collusion with the Judges and or Magellan Health Services, the contracted so called provider for Arizona'a Mental Health Needs. What needs examining in Arizona is the "Cowboy Justice" system not yet ready for prime time youtube exposure of truth they don't want the public to see and hear of the "Good Boy Gone Bad" network of corrupt police. City Officials that reach right up into every office beyond including the Governor and of course John McCain are connected to the several year long history of this Police Department acting at and demonstrating a level of immaturity so sickening that without question, the intrinsic and ontological truth of that history is in process of taking apart the Peoria Police Department and bringing down the dictator rule of a very mentaly unstable City Attorney, Stephen Kemp. So sad officer Adams, you look like a nice guy, but did you stop to think that you might be doing an Enron here? Ever stop to wonder why you take discrepant orders from those you know are to shallow to face their own corrupt deamons, oh well maybe you can have a gander in this reflecting mirror of truth we hold up for you man, sorta hurts don't it but oh well, you make your bed and you LIE in it, that's all. For shame for shame for shame, maybe you can go see Lucy for some 5 cent psycho help Adams, that is what must be needed for a cop who has no clue what he claims to be holding like a doctor order, maybe you need an order from Doctor Kevorkian himself Adams, he might put you out of this misery you will have to face when it comes to your own psychological blows to the ego that would have you stand there and make idol threats behind a badge that can't save you from the personal insanity and ultiate embarassment you bring to yourself and the so called force known as The Peoria Police Department in Arizona. Sorry to intrude on your discrepant stance of abused power and justice Mr. Adams, but, it is not an act of love to ignore your cry for some real awakening, you are the example needed to awaken many because like a puppet on a string, you got yourself tangled up and so those strings are all in knots now so badly that they just might need to be cut completely, severed and replaced or perhaps you would make a better hand puppet with Kemp's hand right up your but instead of yanking your strings or your chain from that lofty position above and behind the curtian. Too much truth for you to swallow, oh well then, just go ahead and choke on it that's about as much thought adjusting we care to do to someone like you who runs around terrorizing people and making unfounded threats to women half your size. You Need your head examined dude because it is a matter of title 1983 wherein you may consider that either you did know better, didn't know better or should have known better. In any event we will arrive at the point of asking, "were you lying then or are you lying now, your choice, eventually that string that opens your mouth gets yanked and something comes out like "I don't recall" likely, that's another Gabriel song dude, check it out. Did you know Gabriel was an angel Adams? Maybe you need a Guardian man like an angel to awaken you we just pry you find one or one finds you before you decide to think with your gun the way you think with your badge, were you a high school bully or a Burger King graduate before joining the force of corruption?
