Persuasion 2007 PART 1
Anne (Sally Hawkins) fell deeply in love with handsome young naval officer Frederick Wentworth (Rupert Penry-Jones) at the age of nineteen. But with neither fortune nor rank to recommend him, Anne's family were against the match and persuaded her to break off the engagement.
Eight years later, Anne has lived to regret her decision. She never stopped loving Frederick and when he returns from sea having made his fortune and reputation, she can only watch as every eligible young woman in the district falls at his feet.
Can Frederick forgive Anne for listening to her family instead of her heart?

Persuasion kiss 2007
Rupert Penry-Jones described it as 'naughty' and the 'steamiest' screen kiss he has ever done. And I tell you something - the lingering passion which this scene reveals epitomises the whole drama. Fabulous.

Persuasion (1995) - PART 1
Jacks and I enjoyed watching this film adaptation of Jane Austen's "Persuasion". In my opinion, this version is far superior to other productions. Made for British television and originally screened by the BBC in April 1995. The script and the acting are brilliant, and as a film its quality is very good. The main actors may look a little bit "old" at first glance, but they quickly grow on you. I love Ciarán Hinds.
Starring Amanda Root as Anne Elliot, Ciarán Hinds as Captain Wentworth, Sophie Thompson as Mary Musgrove, Corin Redgrave as Sir Walter Elliot, Victoria Hamilton as Henrietta Musgrove, Fiona Shaw as Mrs. Croft, and Susan Fleetwood as Lady Russell.

Crystal Blue Persuasion
Music by Tommy James & the Shondells.
I used my own video compilation in the begining consisting of 8mm home movies: my sister petting my brother's head (1956), me riding the bicycle (1964) plus other stock documentary footage. This was to fill in the gap up to 1:27 due to lack of complete video which was from a VHS video called VH1: 70's Music Video Album (1990) that aired on tv in 1990; I snaged (partially). Wood Knapp Video served as the distributer that last I heard closed up shop. They used to sell VHS tapes. I hope the original stuff of mine worked, to add to the remaining video. This was done in response to critisicm received from viewers that noticed the piece being incomplete and fragmented, without the begining. The whole music track was slowed down a bit to sync up the video, music and new footage. Most can not tell. Thanks to all those that posted positive feedback!
