It's the American Graffiti 35th Anniversary Salute, and Tube Number 1 is there!
Cowabunga, we drove up the coast to Petaluma, in the Bay Area, for a rock 'em - sock 'em celebration of the flick the American Film Institute ranked as the #62 Greatest Movie of All Time. Yowza!
See Jerry's Cherry's, Suzanne Somers' 1956 T-Bird, Ron Howard's '58 Chevy Impala, The Pharaoh's 1951 Mercury, and about a gazzilion other boss cars from the '50s and early '60s.
Paul Le Mat (John Milner), Candy Clark (Debbie), Bo Hopkins Pharaoh Joe), and Lynne Marie Stewart (Bobbie) are onhand to greet the fans - and a nicer group of movie stars you'll never meet!
We spent a good 20 minutes just hangin' with Paul Le Mat. He's got our vote as the "Quintiscential King of Cool". He cracked up at hearing his new title. Sure Paul, but let's see 'em fit it on a t-shirt.
Anyway, we have ten minutes of American Graffiti-o-rama for ya, and should May 2009 find you anywhere in Northern California - you'll be a Big Weenie, if you don't make it to Petaluma for this ultimate '62 party.

Trip to Petaluma
Vivian and I take a trip to her hometown of Petaluma, California for her ten-year high school reunion. While there, we see her old house and her old church, smell some bay leaves, play guitar with some friends, and check out the town.

Drunk Driver 1/5/08 Petaluma
Drunkdriverhunters.com Drunk Driver leaves a bar in Petaluma. He was told not to drive his truck but he did anyways. He was warned so no sorrow to that guy. He did not pull over for petaluma police for some reason and was arrested. It doesn't show in the video because it got blurry but he didn't want to get out of his truck. Multiple units responded. Petaluma took our video footage on the scene for best evidence and provided us with a copy of it a few days later.

Petaluma-Sebastopol 1932 promotional egg film
This is a Depression-era film celebrating national egg day, circa 1932, promoting the egg industry from Petaluma and Sebastopol. It may be that the women in the film were the so-called "Petaluma Slick Chicks" who helped promote Petaluma. It's probably one of the world's first infomercials.
