Pigtronix Phi Echolution Delay Pedal
www.ProGuitarShop.com-The Pigtronix Phi Echolution delay pedal is the wackiest delay on the market. This dual delay pedal is a combination of analog and digital delay with enough switches to confuse an astronaut. The Pigtronix Echolution features subdivision switches in ¼, ½, ¾, 1/3, 2/3, and Pi. These will subdivide the tap tempo accordingly and can be used individually or in conjunction with each other. This gives an infinite amount of possibilities and delay yumminess. The Pi switch engages the Golden Ratio. This realigns the subdivision of the tap tempo to give all kinds of cosmic goodness. The Phi Echolution also features modulation delay mode. This circuit is based on an LFO for analog chorus and tremolo modulation of the delay. With this, all kinds of crazy delays and oscillations are possible. This is just the tip of the iceberg my friends. Pigtronix also gave the Echolution a Global section with a Blend pot (you know what that's for) and a Drive control. The Drive control allows you to overdrive the input signal for some crunchy tones. This is a true analog overdrive section built right into your delay pedal! There are also controls for Feedback and Hi-Cut. Now hold on, there's more...The Echolution features a reverse delay switch for those Floydian reverse echoes as well as a Trails switch. The Trails switch allows the delay to continue to trail off after the effect is disengaged for smooth transitions. One more sweet feature is the Loop switch. This allows the delay trails and modulation to continue endlessly and lets you morph them into madness and return them to normal at your command. Basically, we could write a book on the Pigtronix Echolution and still not cover all the features. For versatility, tone, and insanity, the Pigtronix Echolution cannot be beat.

Pigtronix ADSR Attack Sustain Compressor Pedal
www.ProGuitarShop.com - Pigtronix ASDR Attack Sustain Compressor Pedal - At the heart of the Attack Sustain is a revolutionary, newly designed compression / sustain amplifier. When the Attack and Decay functions are switched off, the pedal creates a punchy yet smooth compression that allows your instrument to sustain as long as you want.
The Attack and Decay functions provide a wide range of swell and fade times and pallete of effects that range from cello and trumpet to tape reverse and toy piano. With short attack and decay settings, the auto reset allows you to create pulsating tremolo and staccato-stutter effects.
The Attack Sustain is a far reaching evolution of the Electro Harmonix Attack Decay. For lovers of the Boss Slow Gear, Ebow and/or Fernandes Sustainer pickup, this is the ultimate pedal. In keeping with the tradition of the Attack Decay, we've included our own twist on the "Harmonics" control, which adds a layer of sweet distortion as well as a HIGH-BOOST switch that adds clarity, presence and natural overtones.
The BLEND control allows you to mix in a clean sound for undulating volume swells when using the ATTACK / DECAY functions or for super transparent compression sounds when combined with the Sustainer function. The VOLUME control allows you to boost the effect's signal level significantly above unity gain.
The Attack Sustain is an interactive pedal, that relies on the player's touch to determine when the attack and/or decay cycle will begin. The TRIGGER input jack allows the touch sensitive Attack and Decay functions to be controlled by an external source such as a band mate or drum track. This side chaining technique results in some exceptionally bizarre and cool interactions between the rhythm of the trigger source and the amplitude of your instrument.
Creative circuit design allows the Attack Sustain to mimic bowed string, horn and synthesizer textures without altering the essential "tone" of your instrument.
The Attack Sustain is a 100% analog design.

Electro Harmonix HOG & Pigtronix Echolution
Hey everbody, I started a Myspace site under the name "Mr. Dithers" Please check it out when you get a chance!
http://www.myspace.com/mrdithersnoisebox
This is to show some of the textures you can create with the EH HOG. It does a lot of cool things - but its not a "guitar synthesizer" in the sense it doesn't create sawtooth or square waves - what it does is give you different octaves and harmonies relative to your original pitch. It then puts that signal thru a 12 db resonant lowpass filter. It doesn't really work that well with chords unless you put the envelope on a slow fade in setting. When you adjust your playing style you can coax all sorts of cool sounds out of it. Its really great for adding ambient textures to your music.
I hope this will help you decide if you can use the HOG in your creative process. I was kinda disappointed with the EH demonstration of it from NAMM on YouTube. Camcorder mics suck - especially in a huge convention hall. I would love to produce product demo videos for some of these guys!
I improvised some music for this video incorporating the Pigtronix Echolution -including a couple spots where I looped a short segment and played on top of it. I also ran the sound thru a little bit of reverb on my Lexicon PCM-80. I also used just a tiny amount of chorus from the Roland SDX Dimensional Expander.
My favorite feature of the HOG is the expression pedal - especially the "volume" mode which lets you blend in the amount of effected signal with the original guitar signal. Kind of like a volume swell. The other is the "filter" mode which gives you an awesome analog wah effect. Of course the whole idea here is to hopefully inspire your creative ideas - and think of ways you might use this tool.

Pigtronix Attack Sustain & Electro Harmonix HOG
I have a new Myspace music page - I am calling the project "Mr. Dithers." Please check it out when you get a chance! thanks.
http://www.myspace.com/mrdithersnoisebox
I used the external trigger input on the Attack Sustain to trigger the decay envelope - which gave me a rhythmic gating effect on my guitar. I fed that into the HOG which I had set to give a sort of organ sound. I used the expression pedal to open and close the filter on the HOG. The result is kind of like what Townshend got when he ran his Lowrey organ thru the VCS3. My expression pedal was taking the place of the VCS3's lfo.
On one midi track on my sequencer I triggered 8th notes on the Virus which was set to a bass drum patch. That was fed into the trigger input on the Attack Sustain - you don't hear that bass drum - it was just used to trigger the envelope on the Attack Sustain. On another midi track I wrote the drum pattern which was in sync with the 8th note trigger sequence.
I had just put new strings on my guitar and had not clipped the ends. The guitar is just out of frame but you'll see my cat Oscar as he climbs up on a table and starts playing with one of the strings. Sometimes Oscar will just lay there and watch me twiddle knobs. He also likes the blinking lights.

Pigtronix Polysaturator Distortion Pedal
www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Pigtronix PolySaturator Distortion pedal is an improved version of the overdrive found in the OFO Disnortion. Pigtronix added a Class A J-FET booster stage to the front end and re-voiced the gain structure to give a wider range of overdrive tones. The Pigtronix PolySaturator gives everything from face-melting distortion to subtle overdrive with hi-fi definition and clarity. Featuring a JRC4558 chip and the ability to run at up to 15 volts, the Pigtronix Polysaturator was really made for any type of music and any type of player.
The Pigtronix PolySaturator can really melt faces! I'm serious, I need plastic surgery after playing this pedal. The high gain settings scream like a pissed off girlfriend and sustain for days. For you metalheads, this pedal is perfect for detuning and grinding. When the gain is backed off, the Pigtronix PolySaturator gets bluesy and gritty with a smooth bite that will make heads turn. Back off the guitar volume and the PolySaturator cleans up nicely making it extremely versatile and usable. For an overdrive / distortion pedal that will spend more time on than off, check out the Pigtronix PolySaturator.

Pigtronix Disnortion Fuzz Octave Overdrive Pedal
www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Pigtronix OFO Disnortion stomp box features a touch sensitive Overdrive, Fuzz with 6 different filters, and frequency-doubling Octava. Each effect is an original design and can each be used independently or in combinations to forge a tremendous range of musically responsive distortion sounds. The unique magic of the Pigtronix OFO Disnortion is parallel Fuzz and Overdrive, allowing you to pile on the gain without sacrificing clarity, dynamic response, punch or low end. Well voiced tone and shape controls allow you to focus each effect on its own frequency range. The Octava effects pedal is wired in series before the Overdrive and Fuzz, allowing the guitar pedal to produce a unique type of gated, gnarly grind that is absolutely devastating. A buffered output provides a clean signal for parallel processing, direct recording or a side-chain trigger source for the Pigtronix EP-1.
Overdrive: There has never been an Overdrive quite like this. The Pigtronix Overdrive responds to the dynamics of your playing using a proprietary, 5-stage gain architecture that retains the natural tone of your instrument, while gradually breaking up as you play louder. The circuit is so touch sensitive, it has been described as ...more tube than tube." You must hear it to believe it! From clean or gritty boost right up through Plexi roar, the Pigtronix Overdrive is the most musical overdrive ever made.
Fuzz: massive gain, full bodied sustain and flexible tone shapes define the fuzz effect. Pigtronix's unique version of diode-clipping provides plenty of compression and controllable feedback while preserving the dynamics of your playing style. The rotary tone control switch provides 6 musical EQ curves: Bass, Scoop, Treble, Smooth, F.A.T., and Full Range. The Pigtronix fuzz can go from clean boost to hair raising, shred fisted, freak out pandemonium!
Octava: Based on the classic Tycobrahe Octavia, this frequency doubler effect adds a note one octave up. A filter control allows you to achieve singing octave up tones without adjusting your guitar's tone control. Stable intervals such as 4ths and power chords result in knarly, tweezed out grind, while other intervals create ring modulator textures in all registers. The Octava is wired in series with the other 2 effects for harmonic filled lead tones and outlandishly bizarre crunch. Combine the Octava with both fuzz + overdrive and... fuggettaboutit!
