Steak au Poivre
Kyle gave me a great gift this year...a night to cook something fun. I settled on Steak au Poivre (peppercorn steak) from Alton Brown's show "Good Eats".
After cooking the Filet Minon, it was time to make up the pan sauce. A generous helping of Brandy adds flavor to the sauce. However, you first must burn off all the alcohol, so you get the pan piping hot and then pour in the Brandy. Once it's steaming, FLAME ON!
Following Alton Brown's instructions, you'll notice that there's a fire extinguisher on hand. GRIN.

Le Moulin à Poivre de Nidevelle
Présentation de l'ancien Moulin à Poivre qui se trouvait dans l'épicerie de Nidevelle, à Saint-Georges-des-Sept-Voies (F-49) Ce Moulin à Poivre a été offert par la Famille MORINIÈRE au Moulin de la Lussière, à Saint-Georges, lors des journées du Patrimoine du 21 septembre 2008. Il pourra désormais y être admiré.
