Poland's booming economy tempts migrants home - 27 Sep 08
While the US and UK economies have been lurching from one crisis to the next, things are looking much better in Eastern Europe.
In Poland in particular, the economy has grown so much in recent years, that many Poles who've left the country to work elsewhere in Europe are returning home.

Poland - making a diffrence - the film shows plenty of elementary information about Poland. It refers to the most significant events from the latest history of our country, such as the formation and achievements of Solidarity and accession of Poland to the NATO and the European Union. It shows Poland as a safe country with a stable economy and real prospects of further growth. It presents the exceptional opportunities of investing and running a business in Poland which are results of rapid development of the country and an enormous potential of Polish society. The film reminds also the main successes of Polish scientists and introduces the profiles of Polish prominent artists. It encourages to visit Poland by presenting its main tourist attractions.

The Auschwitz: Oswiecim, Poland
This is a photostory of my visit to The Auschwitz in Oswiecim, Poland. This was one of the main concentration camps used by Hitler for purpose of work camps, slavery, and the eventual attempted and failed extermination of the Jewish race, homosexuals, and people with disabilities. Among these millions of victims were several other beautiful souls from diverse backgrounds that gave or had their lives stolen in the events of WWII. The Auschwitz-Birkenau is probably the most well-known of all the concentration camps. A short bus ride from Krakow on a snowy,winter's morning in December 2004. A few of the older pictures are taken from various sources to show comparisons between "then" and "now." All obviously "new or current" photos were taken by myself. This may be graphic for some, PG-13 rating due to WWII photos of the atrocities that took place here.
