Breidis Prescott KO's Amir Khan in 30 seconds or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Fights
Could hardly believe it!
And what's up with the racist comments? Bet most of you wouldn't say that in front of anyone, you'd get your head bashed in and rightly so.
Big ups to the ESPN Boxing freaks and Dan Rafael, ESB, B-Scene, and Breidis Prescott.
Best summed up by spartanjoe1972:
lmao, i knew khan was a fake, ive watched every fight of his and ive always said he couldnt box, it was his below standard opponents that made him look good. i knew that as soon as he came up against a real boxer he was gonna be in trouble and boy was he, he looked like a rank amateur in that fight. now he can see where his camp screwed up, by putting him in fights with a group of nonsense fighters his boxing has suffered, built up his confidence and boosted his fans and the experience and toughness he woulda gained from at least a couple of decent fighters woulda helped him but they screwed up bad, dont get me wrong im english and would love to see another english world champion but unfortunately i knew from the beginning that khan wasnt it and he proved it tonite. back to the drawing board for khan, maybe he can fight bums and hobos for a living but he wont be world champion in my lifetime. real shame, i woulda liked to have seen that.
jamminenterprise:
Khan learned more in those 54 seconds than he did in any of his previous "fights" (use that term loosely). There is no reason why he can't come back though, he's only 21 after all. David Haye was labeled a bum when he got sparked out by Carl Thompson in 2004 but look how he's bounced back. Rude awakening for Khan today but he's still a talented kid & if he still has the hunger I think he can still go all the way. Give him credit for standing up & acknowledging it's "back to the drawing board"
canadianmma:
Amir Khan made the mistake of trying to please anyone, he should be himself. The mistakes made by Khan in this fight are horrific. From picking an amateur trainer, to Charging and fighting a huge puncher in a brawl. Amir is not intelligent, and you need to be to be a boxer.
bazzabaz:
I wish British boxing and the media would stop hyping fighters before they've achieved anything in the professional game, the same thing has happened twice now with Khan and also Audley Harrison. Amateur boxing and the pro game are completely different, let these fighters develop and see how they go before hyping them.

The View talks about Prescott Bush ties to Nazi Germany
Co-hosts of ABC's The View talked about remarked President George W. Bush made during a speech in Israel. Bush had suggested that Democrats including Barack Obama wanted to "appease" terrorists in the way that some politicians appeased Hitler.
Co-host Joy Behar mentioned the fact that it was George W. Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, who was known to have ties to Nazi Germany.
Behar said, "It's very interesting and ironic that George Bush Sr., [George W. Bush's] grandfather, this one, the late — I don't like to speak ill of the dead but in this case it's fun. He was a united states senator, Prescott Bush. He was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany. This is his grandfather. He has no business talking to Jewish people when he's got this right in his backyard, this guy."
