The Rabbinic origins of the "Curse of Ham" (2 of 2)
The previous video showed that the "Curse of Ham" didn't come from the Scriptures. In this video we see that the "Curse of Ham" originates in the imaginations of certain Jewish rabbis many hundreds of years after the Scriptures were written.
The idea that Ham did some vulgar thing to his father Noah comes from the BABYLONIAN TALMUD, TRACTATE SANHEDRIN, FOLIO 70A:
"Rab and Samuel [differ,] one maintaining that he castrated him, whilst the other says that he sexually abused him. He who maintains that he castrated him, [reasons thus;] Since he cursed him by his fourth son, he must have injured him with respect to a fourth son. But he who says that he sexually abused him, draws an analogy between 'and he saw' written twice. Here it is written, And Ham the father of Canaan saw the nakedness of his father; whilst elsewhere it is written, And when Shechem the son of Hamor saw her [he took her and lay with her and defiled her]. Now, on the view that he emasculated him, it is right that he cursed him by his fourth son; but on the view that he abused him, why did he curse his fourth son; he should have cursed him himself? — Both indignities were perpetrated."

The idea that Ham was cursed, and that he was cursed with black skin, comes from the BABYLONIAN TALMUD, TRACTATE SANHEDRIN, FOLIO 108 B:
"Our Rabbis taught: Three copulated in the ark, and they were all punished — the dog, the raven, and Ham. The dog was doomed to be tied, the raven expectorates [his seed into his mate's mouth]. and Ham was smitten in his skin." http://www.come-and-hear.com/sanhedrin/sanhedrin_108.html#PARTb
This same idea is fleshed-out in a later rabbinic writing called GENESIS RABBAH:
"The sexes of both man and the lower animals were meant to be separated in the ark during the deluge. This is clear from the way in which they entered the ark: first Noah and his three sons went in, and then their wives separately (Gen. 7. 7). But when they came out of the ark after the flood, God commanded Noah, 'Go out of the ark, thou and thy wife, thy sons and their wives' (Gen. 8. 16), thus putting the sexes together again. Ham among the human beings, and the dog among the lower animals, disregarded this injunction and did not separate from the opposite sex in the ark. The dog received a certain punishment, and Ham became a black man; just as when a man has the audacity to coin the king's currency in the king's own palace his face is blackened as a punishment and his issue is declared counterfeit --Gen. Rabbinic Council Support NTD
Story:
After the support NTD got from mainland's viewers, human rights activists and politicians... the Rabbinic Council named Sanhedrin, based on Jewish ancient laws, held a special discussion regarding the interference of the Chinese regime with NTD TVs' broadcasting.
The Rabbis recently invited one of NTD's reporters in Israel to introduce the subject and the current situation.
After a short discussion the Council declared:

"A media outlet which bows to a political, financial or any other kind of pressure, and any individual who participates in this kind of yielding, will warp the truth, will risk human lives and might danger the harmony of the entire human kind."
The Council pointed out that they are not able to make a thorough investigation regarding NTD's issue but they stated that their declaration is based upon moral values.
The Rabbinic Council condemned the Chinese regime before for persecuting Falun Gong in China prior to the Olympic Games.

On Dec/9th I appealed to President Bush not to go Jerusalem because of the fear this would embolden terrorism and pressure for unsafe capitulating measures on the part of an overly pressured & overly irresponsible Israeli govt.Our fears have been realized with death & injuries in Sederot, rockets hitting ashkolen & this terror attack on the Jerusalem Rabbinic students.
Did Condoleezza Rice's trip to Israel encourage this attack as Gay Bauer seemed to indicate from his American values organization.America would not negotiate if these attacks were coming into New Mexico & Texas Its time for a moratorium until the U.S can assure responsible behavior by the other side.
