Raine gives Regal a love letter, the shackles are coming off
Nother' cutscene from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Here's basically what happens:
Regal some how ended in jail again and they just bailed him out. Genis shrugs wondering why Regal has a natural attraction to crime. Regal politely thanks them for helping him out. The one brown haired dude does a pelvic thrust and I have no clue what's he's saying there hopefully it's not as suggestive as it looks. Emil ask him something, he replies with something. I really have no clue what their talking about here. Probably stay out of jail or something. It may be that he lost the key for Regal's shackles.
Anyways, at 0:31 Regal says he can take the shackles off himself and breaks them with his strength. He explains he could of broke out anytime but wants to pay back for his sins (oh god Regal, not again!). The brown haired dude is stunned and obviously is turned off by this.
Regal thanks them again and Raine gives off a vibe of fangirlness towards Regal stating how amazing he is. But this couldn't mean anything, right?
Anyways, after walking out of the door and talking to some weird guy in an apron, they have a conversation with him about something I'm not quite getting... It must be terrible though cause it's playing the "This is terrible" music.
Anyways, at 2:32 are little hero Emil continues walking around until he spots Regal, all dressed up for something... But what? Regal greets them and thanks them for releasing him earlier (He's got a lot of gratitude, eh?). They then talk a long while about what they have to do next, but I don't want to get too into detail about it cause it'd take a while to explain. Things start getting interesting again at 7:30.
The guy sailing the boat hollers at them that the boat is ready to sail. Raine ask if Emil and Marta are up to the task of sailing (which is an obviously trying to cover up the fact she hates sailing). Raine asks Regal to have something from her and she hands him a... Love letter!? Didn't see that one coming... Seriously, I can see couples like Lloyd and Collette and Zelos and Sheena and Genis and Presea, but Raine and Regal... You know, when I put it like that it makes a lot more sense for some reason. Anyways, she explains the letter to him and how it's all lovey dovey (when it zooms in on her face) and the whole party is surprised.
Genis, who is Raine's younger brother starts panicking yelling out "S-s-sister!". Marta thinks it's really cute. Raine says how she's over the years fallen head over heels for him, and Regal accepts her love. Genis literally replies to this as "You're kidding......regal is gonna......be my older brother!?".
Raine drags him away for this. Then you get something and then Regal says they should get going, and Emil agree. And that's it!
