Imogen Heap - Speeding Cars
One of my favorite songs from the one of my favorite artists. There's something beautifully nostalgic about this song that moves my heart...
I tried to think of a "creative video" for this tune, but yet I couldn't find any concept that would've lived up the beauty of this masterpiece. When I came across a "tire swing picture", I thought "that's it" - it's my personal reflection of this song. I wanted everyone to focus on the lyrics and music, even with their eyes closed, hence just that one humble picture that "tells it all".
To me Imogen Heap is a wonder musician, an Artist in every meaning of that word - I'm glad somehow my posting this song helped get more and more people into her music. It's about a song, one's personal moment, a feeling. Hope you don't mind, Immi.. you deserve every piece of admiration you get.
The song is from Goodnight & Go single.
I highly recommend Imogen Heap's latest album "Speak For Yourself" - one of the best in years.

Biker Jailed For Speeding At 130mph

A biker who reached some of the highest speeds ever recorded on an A-road has been jailed. Christopher O'Donovan was travelling at speeds of up to 130 mph as he was chased by police through villages and small roads in Wiltshire. Sky's Katie Stallard reports.

Unfortunately, Trooper passed away on August 14, 2008 from the internal injuries he suffered as a result of being thrown out of a car a high speed. I've posted a

Trooper successfully underwent surgery to repair his broken bones but, apparently, the stress of the incident was too much for his body to overcome.
We suggest that donations in Trooper's memory be given to your local 'no-kill' animal shelter.

"Trooper" was thrown out of the window of a speeding car on a highway in Chesapeake, Va on July 31, 2008.
Thousands of people heard his story and offered donations to help pay for the medical care he needed for recovery.
Anyone wanting to help other abused kittens in need should donate to their local humane society's or "no-kill" animal shelters.
