Britain's Got Talent 2007 - George Sampson Streetdancer
13 year old George Sampson amazes the judges with his street dance. Look at Simon's face!
This video clip is from Britain's Got Talent 2007. Unfortunately, George never made it to the semi-finals in the 2007 competition, mostly because Simon Cowell was unable to convince the other judges of his likely potential. George Sampson re-entered the competition once again in 2008 and won. His motivation to never stop trying should motivate us all. George walked away with 100,000 pounds and a change to perform at the Royal Variety show later this year. Congrats to George Sampson!

Streetdancer George Sampson on Britains Got Talent 2008
Music: Bob Sinclare - Rock This Party(Everybody Dance Now)
Street Dancer George Sampson Has Been Dancing On The Streets of Manchester Just to Get Better, but now he's back, bigger and better.
Sampson got through the Britain's Got Talent auditions in 2008 by dancing to "Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now)". He then came top in the audience's vote in his semi-final with his arrangement of Mint Royale's big beat remix of "Singin' in the Rain", complete with an artificial rain machine onstage, a formula that had previously been produced in a television advertisement for the Volkswagen Golf GTI.[6] He subsequently won the audience's vote, coming first overall. He broke into tears when the winner was announced[7]
Sampson was due to perform a different routine for the final, to a track by the Bee Gees,[8] which he described as involving "a lot of movement without me actually doing anything".[4] An hour before the final started he changed his mind and, after consulting Simon Cowell, opted to perform his winning act from the semi-final again.[8]
