ThomsonFly 757 bird strike & flames captured on video
This incident was video recorded by Simon Lowe. 233 people where on board this jet bound for Lanzarote. The number 2 engine sucks in one bird (a crow or corvid) as the plane rotates off the runway.
T.V. news reports of two herons being sucked in are wrong.

FlyBe Dash8-400, Ryanair 737, EasyJet 737, DHL A300, Aer Arann ATR72 and Thomson Fly 767-300 Aborted Landing. Descended to around 300Ft with no landing gear down, then aborted followed by successful landing.

Ive just heard from A Thomsonfly cabin crew that First Choice and Thomsonfly will start flying as TUI TRAVEL plc from Nov '08. They will become one airline - he thinks it will be 'TUIFLY' and the crew uniforms will be Yellow. First Choice and Thomsonfly will fly under seperate companies and names from now till November 2008.
