Life in Tokyo #57: Surviving Japanese TV
So a few moths ago I was working on an ABC reality show called "I Survived A Japanese Game Show." Its currently broadcasting on ABC, so I recommend checking it out. It was an interesting experience for me since it was the first time Ive worked with a non-Japanese TV crew in 7 years. All of the staff were from LA, except for me and the other local hires. Look for my name under "Japanese Crew" though last time I checked... I'm not Japanese. But then, I suppose in this case I am.
Also, some of the footage from my confessional room interview during my short period as a contestant nobody else knew about.
"I Survived a Japanese Game Show" Is on ABC Tuesday Nights at 9/8 Central, Summer 2008.

Stephen Wiltshire draws Tokyo from memory

During this flight he had a thorough look at the view of the Japanese capital from the helicopter including thousands of buildings, towers, high-ways, cars, buses, even down to intricate details of trees and windows. Following the 30 minutes ride Stephen seemed to be very excited and ready for the challenge.

Was rather happy when Lucasfilm sent mail saying that it gave them a giggle ;-)
Video was shot right after the party that YouTube invited us to - the "YouTube Mix" in Omotesando where we got to meet the co-founder of YouTube Steve Chen. T'was a great party.
This time round, the codpiece came off half way through so we didn't shoot that much this time. Going to glue that codpiece down and attempt to do some more dancing in another location around Tokyo.
