Torsten Fenslau was one of the most influential producers of the early German dance scene. His commercial breakthrough came in 1993 with Culture Beat's 'Mr. Vain' which topped all European charts that year. Other tracks stayed pretty much underground, but became legendary clubhits nevertheless (e.g. 'Die Kybernauten' by Klangwerk or 'Alone It's Me' by Abfahrt).
Torsten ran his own label Abfahrt Records and was resident DJ at Dorian Gray in the terminal-basement of Frankfurt airport. He died much too early in a car accident on the 6th of november 1993. His music lives on in the many sets people have on tape from his appearances in the 'hr3 Clubnight' radio show.

Profile: The story went this way:
Back in 1990, the project created by Marco Biondi, Graziano Pegoraro and Claudio Tarantola was called Neverland, and the song named Mato Grosso. The release soon became a massive hit, and everybody (djs, radio stations) started to call it only Mato Grosso. So, when they decided to produce a new track, they changed the project to Mato Grosso, instead of Neverland. In fact this tune can be found on the LP by Mato Grosso, 2016, released in 1993.

Als Nami von Robins Plan erfährt, versucht sie noch rechtzeitig zur Blue Station zu kommen, um sie umzustimmen, was aber misslingt. Der Seezug hat schon vor der planmässigen Abfahrt Water Seven verlassen...
