Spoken Word Poem
I look up to the sky,
Reflect the glare shawn into my eyes,
Experience the sun's stare
Refracted through the process of
perception or percieving
To know that this world is nothing but
decieving
And that the truth lies deep within
the procession of believing
Believing in yourself and the direction that
You're following, consistantly evolving,
no change in velocity
A continuum of nothing but cycling, and recycling,
and encycling particles, manifested to the point
where that's all people believe in,
They want something to see in, and take pride,
to create a faith based upon a person or a place
When really faith is all they've ever known
What they were born with to finish the race.
Kind of makes you sick, when you don't consider
feelings, and continually keep feeding the wounds
that keep bleeding, and won't recede, they just
keep going and going until you break down and
can't remember anything.
But when you:
disregard the negative charge,
and take for granted the positives
that have been implanted, you end up
with an unbalanced equation, you become
useless, or feel like nothing more than an
abrasion.
