Pablo Galdo plays Albeniz Spanish suite (Asturias) "2004"
Pablo Galdo plays asturias leyenda in 2004 in Spain.He was born in Ferrol(La Coruña), in July 3th,1978. He started to play piano seriously at the age of 19. He studies in Ferrol Conservatory and at Vigo´s Superior Conservatory, where obtains his diplom with Higuest honours and extraordinary prize studying there with Nicasio GradaÃlle and Constantino Pérez. He studies at the same time postgradual studies with Ferenc Rádos at Alcalá de Henares University (Madrid)during 2 years.He continues his studies at "Zoltan Kodály Institute" in Kécskemet with Orsolya Szabó, at the "Franz Liszt Academy" in Budapest with Rita Wagner and András Kemenes, at The "Mozarteum University" in Salzburg under the pretigious pianist Imre Rohmann and at the "Tchaikovsky Conservatory" in Moskow under the eminent and world famous pianist Elisso Wirssaladze, direct student of Heinrich Neuhaus .He got classes furthermore from world famous pianists as Zoltán Kocsis,Alicia de Larrocha,Tamás Vasáry,Alexei Volodin,Várjon Dénes,Marta Gulyás,Jasha Kastnelson,or Almudena Cano,among anothers.He has been chosen in Young performers Cycles as "Jeneusses Musicales"(97,98), "Teresa Berganza Association"(99),"Young talented musicians in Budapest"(01), "Barrié de la maza Foundation"(04) and "Juan March" Foundation(07)He offered concerts in Portugal, Spain, France, Iceland, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, United Kingdom, Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia, Oman,Italy...etcHe was invited to participate in the spanish language week in Ljbliana(05) and for inaugurating the Cervantes institute in Reykiavik (Iceland),in presencer of the president of Iceland.He besides plays in important cities as Moskow, Berlin, London, Paris, Budapest, Madrid, Salzburg,or Zagreb.He records a CD with pieces of Bach, Chopin and Schumann. He played with orchestras in Hungary and Austria.He is also finalist and awarded in various piano competitions in Spain and Austria.He was awarded grants and scholarships from Hungarian ministry, spanish ministry, Caixa Galicia Fountation and AIE association.Nowadays, he continues his concert activity and at the same time he is a piano teacher at Spanish higher conservatory.He Speaks 9 languages.

Asturias (Leyenda) by Isaac Albeniz
Hello everyone
I don't think I will be making any more youtube classical guitar videos (if I do it will be quite rare). I am going to Turkey in a week and I will sell the guitar I used for my recordings before that. My original guitar isn't suitable to make recordings (until I get it fixed) because of it's tilted neck and overly high action - it is torture to play it. Besides, I have devoted a lot of time to youtube these last couple of months, and I definitely won't have that luxury available for me anymore.
Honestly, I started using youtube because (given my current and recent circumstances) there was no other way for me to share classical guitar with other people. I have been playing for many years now, but all those years I was either playing to myself in my room or playing to a few people who really had no familiarity with classical guitar. Not to mention I haven't had an instructor for 10 years now (I started playing about 12 years ago).
The time I spent on youtube turned out to be a very rewarding and liberating experience for me, thanks to all the feedback from and interaction with many people around the world. I have learned so much about myself and my perspective of life has changed.
I am so, so grateful to all the friends I made over here for their kindness, support, and willingness to share music with me. Thank you everyone! A comment on this video: I could have played a little slower and with less flaws. The reason I played it so fast is because youtube doesn't let me upload files larger than 100mb, and with this speed the file turns out to be barely less than 100mb.

Asturias Albeniz Flamenco arr. Kertsopoulos guitar
Flamenco arrangement of Asturias-Leyenda by Isaac Albeniz written and performed live in concert by Yorgos Kertsopoulos at the Muzart Festival, Helexpo Palace, Athens 20 April 2008.High tuned guitar strings constructed by Yorgos give the guitar a minor third higher pitched tuning making it possible to preserve the original G minor key while not changing the usual E minor fingering. In 1948 A.Segovia introduced the nylon string aesthetic of A.Augustine. The classical and flamenco guitar enjoys this aesthetic for more than sixty years and J.Bream, J.Williams, D.Fampas, the Romero family, C.Parkening, Alirio Diaz, R.Dyens, L.Almeida, Paco de Lucia, P.Pena, C.Montoya, Sabicas, Serranito are only a few of the guitarists that play with great success this aesthetic which has worldwide acceptance today. A.Barrios and H.V.Lobos played with metal strings while D.Prat, A.Lauro, F.Tarrega, R.Montoya played with gut strings. At the time of M.Giuliani, M.Carcassi, L.Legnani, F.Carulli, F.Sor, D.Aguado the guitar was strung with metal, gut and silk strings and had either double courses or single strings. Also further back in history G.Sanz, Bermudo, Brescianello played the guitar in higher pitched tunings and the triple strung guitarra battente was popular mainly in Italy. Y.Kertsopoulos introduced in 1994 the Kertsopoulos Aesthetics which as a multiplex open architecture scheme provide the possibility of reviving and realizing the many faces of the guitar's aesthetics, as they have been recorded in history. Among many guitarists that play the aesthetics Smaro Gregoriadou has made many succesful first world presentations of different aspects of aesthetic styles in guitar interpretation.
