Speed Lives - No Boundaries by Michael Angelo Batio
No Boundaries was recorded by Michael Angelo Batio for the intro to his Speed Lives instructional DVD. We recorded Speed Lives in late 2003.
http://www.metalmethod.com/lead-guitar-lesson-speed-lives.htm
So, how did Michael manage to play so many guitars in one video without missing a beat? Nope, we didn't punch 'em in. We shot this video with one camera. Michael was filmed playing No Boundaries from beginning to end with each of the guitars. There was only one guitar that actually had enough frets (24) to play the song and that's the brown Dean. So, what you're hearing is that single performance from beginning to end.
There are parts of No Boundaries that are highly structured. Michael plays these parts exactly the same way every time. On some of these sections we superimposed the video (not the audio) of his performances playing other guitars. Still, you're only hearing one amazing live performance from beginning to end.

Michael Angelo Batio "Performance" DVD excerpts
Excerpts from MAB's "Performance" DVD recorded live at his studio called "Monster Mix". MAB is using a Marshall JMP-1 and a Marshall valvestate, miked, off to the side of the stacks for this DVD. He also did this in his "Star Licks" and "Speed Kills" DVDs. Those are his Marshall stacks, used by him in concert but they were used in this program only as a backdrop. This DVD as well as his other ones are available at www.angelo.com

Speed Kills - Guitar Lesson Introduction
This is the introduction to Michael Angelo Batio's Speed Kills, the original speed picking technique video guitar lesson. This includes Michael's performance of No Boundaries. For more information: http://www.metalmethod.com/lead-guitar-lesson-speed-kills.htm
A quick note from MAB: The ambient, reverbed, delayed sound that you hear on my lead guitar is not part of my sound, nor in the original version. When the original video was converted to DVD a different audio track was used and somehow this was the result. The original lead guitar sound had none of this reverbed, delayed ambience. Thanks.

Speed Kills 2 - Rain Forest by Michael Angelo Batio
Michael Angelo Batio performed Rain Forest on his 2006 DVD instructional video Speed Kills 2.
http://www.metalmethod.com/lead-guitar-lesson-speed-kills-2.htm
Speed Kills 2 is the follow-up to Speed Kills, the most popular guitar technique video of all time.
People are amazed by Michael's extreme shredding performances but they don't really understand what's happening in these videos. This piece is over six minutes long and what you see and hear is what you get. This was a three-camera shoot, which allowed us to cut between cameras to make the video more visually appealing. As everybody knows, when you cut to a different camera it could be from another take. Not here. We turned all three cameras on and let them roll for twenty-four minutes. During that period of time Michael performed the piece from beginning to end three times. This video is the third take.

Speed Kills 3 Introduction by Michael Angelo Batio
Introduction to the Michael Angelo Batio instructional DVD Speed Kills 3
More info: http://www.metalmethod.com/lead-guitar-lesson-speed-kills-3.htm
Kills 3 advanced guitar techniques instructional DVD.
Until today I have always recommended Speed Kills as the ultimate advanced guitar technique program. Speed Kills has been the shredder's bible since the early 90's. It's still one of the best, but it has been surpassed today by the release of Speed Kills 3. This DVD will either inspire and motivate you beyond your current level of playing ability or convince you to find a new hobby. It's that challenging.
Still, you don't have to play these exercises at 200 beats per minute to get results. Start slow and gradually increase speed until you're capable of keeping up with Michael. At least you can aspire to keep up with Michael. That's difficult.
The point is, regardless of what tempo you play exercises, your dexterity, speed, and coordination will improve beyond belief. Speed Kills 3 is now regardless of what tempo you play these licks, exercises, and motifs your dexterity, speed, and coordination will improve beyond belief.

GH2 Custom Songs - Michael Angelo Batio - No Boundaries
No Boundaries, a.k.a. Speed Lives, by Michael Angelo Batio. Note chart by blackmamba.
Wow. One of the most fun customs to be released in a while. Thoroughly enjoyable to play through.
Of course, this video isn't without a quirk or two. Around 91%, I activated star power a second too late and failed the song. I thought I was doing pretty well and didn't want to scratch the whole performance, so this video is actually a composite of two seperate playthroughs. The last twenty seconds or so are from a different video with hacked "unfailable" mode on. If you're paying attention, you should be able to spot the cut.
Awesome chart.
