The state of Bihar in India is notorious for having the country's highest crime rate. But the local police force has found a novel way to fight it. Building on the state's vibrant tradition of folk music, they have created a police choir that sings songs designed to raise awareness of and combat crime.

Bihar govt. launched the first call center on RTI in Patna. People can take any kind of information from any dept. under state govt. by applying online.

Mob lynching culture on rise in Bihar
Bihar once again witnessed mob justice as public anger let loose just outside the Hajipur Sadar Hospital in Bihar. On Saturday morning, a student Ravi Kumar killed his friend and roommate Om Prakash, whom he accused of stealing his mobile phone. Soon, he was dragged out of hospital and mercilessly beaten up by a group of people. The police intervened and brought Ravi Kumar to hospital for first aid.
