The "Ghetto" Talkbox
MooT BooXLe demonstrates how he made a cheap talkbox out of common parts, for a very small amount of money and time. The idea for this project came from paranorm's article here: http://spithate.com/labor-of-computer-love-two-decades-of-talkbox-attempts/
This will NOT give you a sound like a pro talkbox, but it's cheap, easy, and fun.
NOTE: This was done before I got into talkboxing properly, and is probably a poor representation of me AND my talkbox skills. I am no longer answering questions about this thing. If yours doesn't work as good as you think it should, consider making a 'real' talkbox, which will give you real results. Details are on my site at:

Explosion - An improvised synth solo
MooT BooXLe performing on the Synthesizers.com modular analogue synthesizer. This is not a perfect performance, as it was improvised in one go.
Also functioning in this video are the Moogerfooger CP-251, the Roland Space Echo, and Reason drums.
I was controlling the filter cutoff with a CV pedal.

my version of the "ghetto talkbox" using essentially the same parts as moot booxle, but i added some insulation in the box to prevent the sound from escaping anywhere but the tube. basically off the top of the head jam at first into some daft punk and "California love" for comparison tone.
