SAW III DIRECTOR DARREN LYNN BOUSMAN RETURNS (Saw 3)
Darren Lynn Bousman returns for his second crack at directing the Saw franchise with Saw III which reunites most of the cast and the crew, even the hotel where everyone stayed during production remained the same. What has changed Darren says is Jigsaw's digs have gotten much more elaborate to accommodate an extra special someone.

Avec Repo! The Genetic Opera, Darren Lynn Bousman (à qui l'on doit la série Saw 2,3 et 4) sort des sentiers battus. Offrant une comédie d'horreur musicale à ses admirateurs, le réalisateur sait bien qu'il prend un risque. « C'était difficile de passer d'une franchise sûre comme Saw vers quelque chose qui l'est beaucoup moins. J'avais deux principaux problèmes. Le premier, c'est que les comédies musicales sont un genre particulier, aimé par un type de personne. Ensuite, c'est un film d'horreur ce qui divise encore les spectateurs. En plus, la plupart du temps, ces genres ne se croisent pas », dit-il. Le Lien MULTIMÉDIA a profité de son passage à Montréal pour parler de son goût du risque dans le contexte d'Hollywood.
