Hans Teeuwen POWNED de Meiden van Halal - Bimbo's en Burka's
De Meiden van Halal, wie kent ze niet deze achterlijke Moslim fundamentalistes die hun religieuze superieuriteit uitdragen door middel van hun kleding. Al tijden onderzoeken deze wandelende NPS-hoofddoeken de verboden vrucht die de Nederlandse samenleving heet, en werkelijk niets is Allah's brutaaltjes daarbij te dol. Voor het eenmalige discussieprogramma Bimbo's en Burka's hadden ze dan ook een ontmoeting gepland met niemand minder dan Hans Teeuwen. U weet wel, een van de weduwen Van Gogh die de meiden eerder al liet figureren in een lofzang op de vrijheid van meningsuiting. Het mediterraan-gereformeerde damestrio was zwaar beledigd door Teeuwens opmerking. Want Halal-meisjes pijpen niet. En daarom moest Teeuwen op de pijnbank voor een fikse verbale schrobbering. Het leverde een stukje historische televisie op. Moraal van zijn verhaal: lachen is leuk en religie moet altijd geridiculiseerd kunnen worden. Dat wisten wij al, maar de stamelende meisjes van Halal overuidelijk niet. Kom er maar in Hans: 'Belediging is voor sommige mensen ook gewoon een waarheid die ze liever niet willen horen.'

A Joke Every Day - 218 - Burkas
I like this as a concept, but I'm not really sure if it's funny... Or even if it's a bit funny it also feels mostly disposable. The point at the end has the most interesting perspective in it, but I need to take that and find a stronger joke in it, is I think what I need to do.
Incidentally, with this joke I've continued this week's tradition of making fun of religious garb in all the abrahamic religions... interesting.
Maybe will write more later. I've got an improv show tonight at Improvapalooza, so I gotta get a move on.
Burkaneers: Please don't steal my jokes. Also, I wish I'd called you burkaneers out loud in the joke. I will at some point, I promise.
