Pope sorry for clergy's 'evil' acts - 19 Jul 08
Pope Benedict XVI has apologised for the sexual abuses committed by Roman Catholic clergy in Australia.
During a mass in Sydney on Saturday, the pope described the acts as "evil", a grave betrayal of trust and as bringing great shame on the Catholic church.
Victims say the issue has been covered up and apologies do not go far enough.
The pope is in Sydney for World Youth Day, a global celebration meant to inspire a new generation of Catholics.
However, his 10-day visit, which ends on Monday, has been overshadowed by the issue of child sex abuse.

Re: Clergy Response Teams

Break down of Romans Chapter 13, verses 1 through 7 and how the government and their false pastors, clergy, ministers are misapplying them.
The book of Romans was written to the church of God, true born again Christians and he was talking about the hierarchy within the church. Paul wasn't saying that the "ordained powers that be of God" was, is or is going to be these satanic government entities. Our country has been taken over by the same power that was behind Nazi Germany. The Vatican and their jesuits and all their other agents, is, opus dei, Knights of Malta, high level free-masons, etc.
Response to someone thinking I err in this video:
"Dear XXXXX,
Thank you for your message. I have had mixed ideas in the past regarding certain aspects of what I talked about in the video you are mentioning. But the Lord was fulfilling His work of laying down his life for the world and fulfilled the verses about Him being a lamb lead to the slaughter to fulfill all the laws of sacrifice once and for all.
I don't see verses saying we are to be lambs lead to the slaughter. And I especially don't see verses saying that men should be able to break the law and harm us who wouldn't attack anyone. The Bible says the law is for the lawless. I can't stand here and say that we should submit to Hitler.
God states "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." and to love my wife as my own flesh and to "nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:" Would loving, nourishing and cherishing my wife mean letting soldiers march us out the door to a concentration camp? Or providing for my family I would say, means protecting them. Even with weapons.
Then, I think you may be "off" in your comparison of, while witnessing in the streets, you are arrested, for the gospel's sake, with being at home where your little children are and they come to your home to hurt you for no reason. The Lord at one point told them to get swords (Luke 22:36)
Also, did not that pastor look crazy? I think he did. That was my opinion I was expressing.
Thanks again for your message as I am looking at this topic and continue seeking God over it.
These following verses seem to fit right along with Romans 13 1-7 and those are 1 Peter 2:13; 14. But again, I believe Peter is stating that we are to submit to the laws of the land unless they contradict God's commands.
So i have shared some of the reasons why I have come to the conclusion I have come to. Feel free to write back.
Lord bless you,
Thomas
